I recently went to an appointment at this office in Roanoke. It was absolutely the most amazing experience I have ever had with an eye doctor. Everyone was so helpful and polite , the doctor was so awesome I absolutely love her! And I got glasses and contacts for a reasonable price and the lady ordering everything was so helpful.

These guys always take care of me, I have rimless glasses and I have the absolute worst luck having the lenses (get sat on) accidentally pop out.Katrina is my saviour! always so sweet and understanding, last time it seems as if she bullet proofed them! Just ordered a second pair after my latest exam.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Cassie Benedick and all of the other staff I encountered. I just moved to this area so I needed a new eye doctor and I’m really happy I found this place! I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Just finished with my first appointment at MyEyeDr. What a great experience, all around. The doctor conducted a very thorough exam, the opticians were honest and helpful! The staff was just great! They also had a great selection of frames! This is going to be my forever eye doctor.

This is the third time I’ve come to this office and the posted hours say it should be open, but it’s actually closed. I don’t have time to chase your hours of operation. Update then so people aren’t wasting their time please.

The only reason I'm giving a one star is because I can't select a 0 star. Katrina who is the office manager threatened me during my first appointment over an insurance disagreement. I went ahead and paid against my better judgment. Turns out I was right and insurance paid after a few months. Now the office won't take our calls or issue credit. We've been trying to get our credit back for nearly a year! I would highly discourage you from using this office.

My husband and I have been coming to this office since 2012. There have been many staff changes as well as Optometrists. On June 20, 2022, we went in for our annual exam. My husband's contacts are medically necessary contact lenses and would need to be fitted or adjust every time he gets a new one. On July 6, 2022, I called and check on the status of my husband's contact lenses and was told that it has not arrived yet because of a delay and that it could take up to a month and we would receive a text message on it. Today, July 15, he calls in for status again, person who picked up told him "it arrived on July 12 and you were notified." My husband told her he did not receive a phone call or text about it. She responded with " well...it's here." She was very unprofessional. Did not even apologize for my husband not receiving notification about it. Very poor customer service. You could tell that she was eating while on the phone. We're very disappointed and will not be coming back after coming here for so many years. We would rather take our business elsewhere where we can be treated better by all staff members. My husband will be picking up his contacts without an optometrist making sure it fits comfortably since that lady didn't offer to make an appointment for him considering his contacts are different from what most people wear.

The staff is amazing I’m a new contact user and I got my contact stuck in my eye this morning. They got me right in to help get it out and gave me a new pair to wear 10/10 would recommend!

The associates are friendly, courteous and professional at all times. They remember my name and greet me by name immediately upon entering the store.

Dr. Cassie was amazing and very thorough during the examination. Front staff was welcoming and the ladies who assisted me with ordering my contacts explained everything so there weren’t any surprises. Overall, a great experience!

The eye doctor at this facility is very friendly and professional.I reviewed this facility at a one star due to the office manager Katrina. They claimed that our insurance did not cover the standard visit when it has done so ever since we had our insurance. Our insurance has not changed. My wife and I subsequently had to work with the insurance company and the billing company to get this resolved and it took us about a month to do so.On top of all of this I felt threatened when Katrina told me she would not let me leave the premises without paying in full.I would not recommend and will not be back.

I've been using Dr. Hughes since he took over the offices before they changed locations. He was always informative and great to work with. Well now they're part this MyEyeDr crap. They think they can force you to abide by their internal policies to wear a mask. This is b******** I will not do business with someone that thinks they can force me to do something I don't need to do. (BTW. Don't come to me with the crap of you are a Risk. I've had C19, almost died, been vaccinated.) This mask crap is like everything else, it's a choice, besides it doesn't make a damn difference anyways. Ask any veteran with chemical warfare training. That damn thing ain't stopping crap. Too bad it is more important for a company to try and force its beliefs on its customers as opposed to just respecting the customers belief. My family will never set foot in there again and I'll never refer them again.

I was hesitant to leave a bad review despite my very unpleasant experience. Until I read the other reviews and realized it was a consistent theme. With the exception of the Doctor, the staff here does not understand how to treat people and how to receive feedback. When I attempted to tell Evan that it would be a good idea to get authorization from the patient before charging them for additional services he snapped at me and didn't receive my feedback at all. Very unprofessional. They had very little regard for customer service. I most certainly will never be going back. There are so many eye doctors, this one is a hard pass.
