We love Prosperity Bank! It has a home town feel and everyone knows your name, not to mention you are not inundated with fees. Quick responses, friendly staff and always very accommodating. Hoping the new Roanoke location has Saturday hours.Deb and Rick Ott

This bank really cares about their customers. They are always so friendly, and do an amazing job at explaining things (which is an issue I often have with banks). Nancy is incredible!

Please avoid Prosperity Bank. I was trying to give them a second chance to make a first impression, and it's just more of the same. I'm in a store today and needed a refund for an item I paid for with my debit card. The first two times they tried, they received an error message that said 'debit card unavailable'. I tried the mobile app. It's down. I tried the website when I got home. It's down. I clicked contact customer service. The link is disabled. I called customer service. No one answers. I choose the option for automated account information and the call disconnects. This is craziness. Technology usually moves forward. As soon as everything I have pending clears, I'm out. Screw this. This is a full on nightmare, just when I thought this year couldn't get any worse. Legacy Bank was absorbed by Prosperity Bank effective 6/8/2020. Today is 6/10/2020 and I tried to use my debit card for the first time. No dice. I was already trying to be cool about my banking history which has disappeared, but now you're holding my money hostage? Customer service is nonexistent. I hung up after 35 the first time I called today. As I write, I'm 42 minutes into the second call. But hey, they understand that my time is valuable, so there's that. The reviews that say direct deposits are missing are giving me a panic attack. I've been on board with credit unions for over 20 years, but this will be what finally forces me to a real bank. It's a sad day.

Talk about being unprepared. Prosperity Bank recently merged Legacy into their system, at least that's what they told us. Now I can't see any of my account history. I can't see my deposit that I should have gotten today and I can't verify any deposits either. I am not a happy camper. it's not just this branch, I'm talking about systemically this bank has fallen down. I waited on the phone for almost 1/2 hour yesterday twice before their phone system dropped me both times. I've waited for as much as 40 minutes to get a chat agent only to have them tell me that they don't know what's happening.

Just switched my business banking to Prosperity Bank after many years of trying to work with a large national bank. Prosperity Bank was able to process my Paycheck Protection Program loan within days. My previous large national bank was a monumental waste of time for over three weeks. The large national bank had NO customer service and kept emailing me for tax forms my business doesn't file - they simply just don't get it. Prosperity Bank, specifically Colton Edmondson, Laurel Vaughan and Jayna Desai, have been so responsive and accommodating to my business banking needs. They are true customer experience caregivers. Thanks so much for redefining what a bank and a banking relationship should be, Prosperity Bank!

Service is fine but the bank overall is way behind in technology still requiring paper checks for loan payment.

This is the bank location where I held a savings account with almost $3k for almost 10 years. Reference date October 2015. Because my savings account hadn't had activity, NW Bank, now dba Prosperity failed to reach out via email or registered letter or anything, and they closed the account and sent my money to the Texas Comptroller. Wayne, bank employee, said he doesn't have time to call each of his 80,000 customers when they don't bother to add or deduct from their bank accounts. He decided to poke at me when I told him I trusted his bank to keep my money safe and he said they trusted me back and reminded me the bank loaned me $4k previously when I only had $2700 in savings and asked me so what's the big deal? Acting me like I should be thanking him. He was arrogant and I was distraught so his attitude made things much worse. I hope that no one that I care about trusts this bank with their hard earned money.
