We arrived at our storage unit to find a new lock in place. We had received a message stating that our unit was not properly locked therefore the lock was changed, but upon opening it, we found our previous lock on the floor. It had been cut off. When we called to follow up with this and we were told that somebody broke into multiple units and they did not believe they stole anything based on watching the camera, but they had been inside of ours. There was no communication of this until we reached out and public storage did not ask if we had anything stolen or let us know to check, this is horrible communication and unacceptable.

Renting with Public storage was a breeze. Once I reserved a unit I was sent an email to finish rental on line and a realize person followed up to answer any questions and personally complete the rental over the phone if I wanted. Move-in day I was sent the access code. Very simple and no surprises.

My storage unit is at the Roanoke location. However it does not have an on-site manager at this time. Christina at the Double Eagle location in Fort Worth took very good care of my needs. She is the epitome of customer service. She goes above and beyond for her customers. If you are looking for storage in the north east Fort Worth or Roanoke area you can locate her on the app.

This location in Roanoke, Texas advertises “Full Service”. Their definition of Full Service” is a kiosk. The person that comes on the line says self service location. No one on site to assist with any matters issues or concerns, yet yet the rate goes up to $400+.

I’ve been at this location for a year and a half and the rent goes up every 6 months. I have a 10x10 that I’m being charged $211/month when the website says its starting rate is $95/month. The facility is very nice but the rent going up is ridiculous.

What disastrous things can happen to a company, in a year or less.There is no longer a front office. There is no longer anyone on site. Where the rental office was, there is now a tiny room with a (believe it or not) KIOSK computer board (like McDonald's).If you have an issue (like I did - all of the carts were missing ... ALL of them), there is NO ONE THERE to help you. Your boxes are heavy enough to be lifted, but not carried ... a problem with the door opening and closing ... worse, a security issue, there is NO ONE THERE. Surely, my wife said, "the price must have come down". What do you think, reader? Uh ... NO. Looking for another storage facility. These guys are going to find themselves on their way out.
