Doctor sent out prescriptions at around 9am. I showed up to the pharmacy at 5pm. The response? \\\"Uhhhh, that one's supposed to be done tomorrow because we don't know if we have it, but if you want it I can check and we can make it now.\\\" I have never been given such an absurd line. Do you think we come to the pharmacy because it's fun? Of COURSE I want my prescription if you have it in stock, you turnip brain! Even now, hours later, I'm still absolutely boggled that someone would think it's normal to just put off a prescription because they're not SURE they have it in stock...and then ask the customer if we want them to check. You don't need permission to do your job, guys. In addition, the line moves at the speed of molasses in winter, and the prices are RIDICULOUS. Seriously, unless your insurance covers 100% of the cost, do not go here. I'd have turned around and left if it hadn't been too late to go somewhere else that day. You can bet I'll never be going back.

The store is excellent very friendly employees. The pharmacy is a joke can't get prescriptions filled on a timely matter. Dr. call in prescriptions say it take 45 min .say you come back after work next day to pick up and still not filled say it will take an hour the next day. This seems to be on going problem with others also . I am having all meds transfered to another pharmacy and so are others.

OUTSTANDING service!! My very-ill mother needed an uncommon medication immediately. Not only did the pharmacist go to great lengths to find a partial prescription at another location ASAP, but she also also went out of her way to make sure that the remainder of the hard-to-acquire drug was available when the partial ran out. My eternal gratitude goes out to this fantastic pharmacist for all her efforts.

Switching to Brookshires pharmacy was the absolute BEST decision I made 6 years ago!!! I love the friendly helpful staff in the pharmacy. I always receive my prescriptions fast and if and when there is an issue I am notified promptly. There have been several occasions my pharmacy has gone above and beyond for me. Thank you Brookshires pharmacy (staff) for making me feel top priority!!!

Brookshire's is a good little grocery store where you can always get help from somebody if you can't find something or whatever. Most often, I'll be standing around looking dazed and confused and an employee will come over and ask if I need help. That's important to me. The prices are a little more than one would pay in some of the bigger chains like Walmart or HEB, but I think that's because they have more people on the floor. Essentially, you're paying for customer service, something I don't mind paying a little extra for. Brookshire's meat is a cut above most others' offerings, by the way. They also have a pharmacy, drive-up or walk-in, and a great deli department. I love to get a hot lunch to go and bring it home and munch down, too. I recommend the fried chicken. It's better than most chicken places. For the coup de grace, a bagger will (1) bag your groceries for you and (2) take it out to your car, and they don't want a tip! Great place. Bathroom, when needed, is clean, too.
