Ordered gas Friday morning. Promised on Saturday before close of business. No call from driver and no delivery. Checked account and after charging $288+/- they had entered an incorrect address. No response from the office to our messages.

I have been waiting since last year for someone to answer my request, I need the tank that I am renting form AmeriGas to be serviced Both the outside of the tank need a rust protector and paint it is rusted all over as well as now the last tank fill up in October 2023 the driver stated that our tank was full yet it is reading 70% after I paid for the fill he stated that the gauge was not working, so either AmeriGas stole the Propane I paid for or the driver,. I have reached out to AmeriGas to check the gauge or refund my money, and have yet to hear from them.. I am still waiting!!!!!Send a Maintenance Crew to rust protect the tank paint it and replace the faulty Gauge and explain why I paid for the Propane that was not delivered according to the drivers gauge and the tank guage I over paid for the difference on the actual gage reading.

Hate dealing with this company. Do Not lease a tank from them. Their prices on propane are almost double compared to the competition. Geez! That's ridiculous!!! Never again!

Update: Amerigas. I have received zero responses to my private email. I have made 2 more calls to your customer service and I've been told its going to be taken care of and the tank will be swapped. Yet all your customer service does is set up propane deliveries for the tank that cannot be refilled and on any day that is convenient for your people. There is a major lack of communication here.\\n\\nOriginal post: Customer service is a joke. It seems about the only thing they know how to do is request a delivery. I have been told twice by my local delivery driver that my tank cannot be refilled and needs to be swapped. Customer service cannot seem to understand this and will just reschedule a new delivery for propane to the tank that cannot be refilled. Zero communication between the local delivery center and customer service. It seems you cannot talk to anyone locally. They are all overseas agents.

There have been some errors when the web site was upgraded but those seem to have been resolved.

Don't use these people. They're a joke! We quit their service because they repeatedly tried to sell us more propane than we ordered. Then, when we quit we had the tank picked up but they never recorded that. Two years later and after several phone calls, they are still trying to bill us for tank rental. Now they've turned it over to a collection agency. They need to clean up their act! Lousy lousy lousy customer service.

DONT BOTHER CALLING AMERIGAS!!! I wanted a propane tank for my house and had to schedule an appointment for a site check. No openings for 2 weeks. Supposedly I was the first person to schedule that day so I assumed it would be first thing in the morning. The appointment day arrived and I heard nothing all morning so I call in and they said it would be later in the afternoon. I waited and heard nothing all day. I called at 5:30 only to get a voicemail so I left a message. Never heard back. A couple more days go by and I call them again. Cody says he can come out at 4:30 or 5:00. Here it is 5:35 and I haven't heard a word. HOW TOTALLY RUDE, INCONSIDERATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL CAN YOU BE? If this is any indication of how you run your business then I don't want to do business with you. A PHONE CALL WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. I've wasted a whole week waiting on you. Now I'll go to someone who knows what they are doing. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Put in a standard request for refill some 13 days ago online. I was given a time window during which gas delivery would occur extending from 2 days after I requested until today. Today, noticing the delivery still had not been made and noticing my tank nearing empty, I called Ms. Leia Bush at about 9AM. She reassured me "you're on the list" and "the delivery will be made today". Came home to look at my tank and no refill. At this point, I went online and looked at average LPG prices in texas for the prior week ($2.43 per eia.gov). The price I was quoted at the time I put in the request was $3.57. I quickly called a competitor in town, not knowing what I'd get. I was quoted $2.25. So, Amerigas has been unreliable and they are price-gouging as well.
