Sweet bread was not good. Biscuits were not good. Place never opens on time. HEB bakery has cheaper and better sweet bread up the street and Whataburger biscuits are way better. We stopped by after looking at the pictures they post. The pictures look great, too bad it doesnt taste how it looks. Also, its cash only. And they give you everything in cheap bags, by the time you get home , unless you live really close by, your pastries are stuck together and if they are hot, the condensation seeps throug the bag and ruins the pastries.

Very disappointed.Went All the way over there (live in Corpus) because it said it was opened at 7 am. I wanted freshly made donuts. Lady saw me at door only to say they were opening at 8 am. Also take cash!.. they don't accept any other form for payment. What a waste of gas n time ?

Cabreras Bakery is the #1 spot to get the best donuts in town! Best customer service, and they always make everyone feel welcomed. I recommend everyone to stop by and try it for yourself!

I came a month ago and didn't expect for the place to be cash only. Not only that, but there wasn't much on display, I'm not exactly sure what I saw, but I know there wasn't much. If I do recall, the owner gave a little attitude towards my family and argued. Overall, I had a bad experience and will never come again.

Why do yal only respond to a few recent reviews that are not to yals liking? You have a lot of back logging to do. Yal have had many other low reviews that yal have not responded to. As well as the good ones. Its really petty for a store owner to continue to react in a petty way when a customer is giving input. Very unprofessional for a small business owner who needs business to act that way no matter the feedback he or she is receiving at the moment. Sounds like you are the one really upset. Any way I am very disappointed because I felt misled and followed yals Facebook page online. I was actually really excited to try yals place out. A feedback I will give is if yal run out early please close early or place a sign on the door so that way customers do not get misled and go through the same situation we went through. FYI around the date you keep mentioning I visited. There was no heads up on the few items u only had that day. No where that day did it say "call ahead for a donut that will take 10 min". Wouldve loved if you invited me back at the least but you really don't truly care about making money & bringing in new customers it seems , u just wanna "clap back". Can't wait for your petty response to this feedback.

Save yourself some time and do not ever go to this place. They do not have much selection. The place is very dirty. The lady (who says she's the owner) is very rude and suggested we try HEB if we wanted a bakery. Which we told her we wanted to support locally. She also told us if we wanted anything from there, we needed to pre-order.My wife heard good things about to place and just wanted to check it out. So we planned our day around going there. We didn't know what we were going to get, but I was thinking doughnuts and conchas. Even though I took out $60 from ATM (because it's cash only), i wasn't planning on buying so much food that I needed to pre-order. We just wanted to see what they offered.Zero stars needs to be an option.Zero stars is even too high.Update: the reply below is not true. At no time did this lady apologize. She kicked us out because I told her we really wanted to try this place out and drove from our of town. She told us to leave because she didn't need the negativity. I told her "we were not being negative. We only wanted to support a local bakery". But this goes to show the type of disrespect and lack of professionalism they have. I gave an honest feedback from my point of view. We love to support local, but you can't help those who degrade the common people. No matter what day or what hour it was, we drive the distance to give them a shot. If we had great service, this story would be different. Also, there are other posts the say similar comments, about dirty store, small selection, and rude employee. But they only respond to mine? Sometimes, I wish we would listen to some comments instead of trying to make my own opinions.
