Very large place with clean restrooms and a bar with all the drinks!

It's kind of hard 2 located unless ur familiar w/ the area, especially if U go @ night. No illuminated signs @ night. Luckily I got 2 Robstown about 1½ hr early today. So I decided 2 do a test run from La Quinta where I was staying @ ( I-37 @ Mc Kenzie, Corpus ). Review coming very soon on La Quinta. I passed The High Chaparral initially & was able 2 do a U-turn due 2 a lack of traffic. Luckily, I got there during day light hours. The inside was kind of warm ( air temp wise ) w/ people inside. I looked up @ the roof. It seemed poorly insulated w/ spray on insulation on the underside of a metal roof. The place was a good size, spacious 4 parties, weddings other large gatherings. I never felt claustrophobic w/ the other attendees inside. They have a bar in the back. The Men's restroom looked relative clean. The grout in the Men's RR could use a cleaning. No visible pee on the floor or smell of pee. Good job 👏 👍. My only 2 main recommendations are : 1. Get better insulation 4 the roof during the off-season. We're only in May, not even June - August yet. Summer heat ☀️ is coming fast. 2. Get an illuminated sign 4 night time

Thank you my new Jacob Ramon #11: had his graduation party last weekend and very nice enjoyable. This has been about the fourth time I have attended an event here since last year. It was hot then and it was definitely hot last night. Every time we complain about the temperature in there they say they are putting a new ac in. It’s been a year and still no change. For the amount they charge for the venue you would think your guests being comfortable would be a priority.

I liked all the snack choices the popcorn was a hit with us my table bought about twenty dollars it a nice place for our families wedding we had a good time no problems staff was great they could ua some repairs to the parking lot

We had our granddaughter's Sweet 16 celebration at the High Chaparral. The staff is wonderful. The table spacing is excellent. The uplighting throughout the hall is excellent. When we ran out of seating the staff immediately brought out more tables and chairs to accommodate our guest. I highly recommend this venue.

Nice place for a function. Big and a lot of room. Only complaint is that nasty parking lot to many potholes.

Great venue, has a full bar great accomodations for a small intimate gathering or a great big celebration. Plenty of well lit parking bar staff is awesome. Go check it out management is great gt your big special day reserved.

I was very impressed with the place. The security they had at this wedding tonight was awesome. The employees were fantastic. Love how they checked the invites, very organized.
