We stayed in our Trailer. I really appreciated the smiling welcome as I pulled up to the office. I felt welcomed. Location is very convenient to Rockport Beach and local stores and restaurants.

We spent a delightful 4 1/2 months at Ancient Oaks RV on one of their pull though sites (more than adequate space between RVers). Patty and Carol took great care to make sure we were well taken care of. This is a quiet park. It is also an older park on upside of major renovations that are nearing completion. They just completed the upgraded of high speed internet access (Wi-Fi). Works great. Upload/downloads are fantastic-great for streaming. We rented one of the Cottages when our family came to visit. They enjoyed staying there. This park is convenient to the Rockport-Fulton beaches, Port Aransas, Aransas Wild Life Refuge and venues for birding and fishing abound.

Ancient Oaks is a quiet RV Park. The concrete slabs are nice and level and we had plenty of room for our 32 ft toy hauler and our truck. The laundromat on site was nice and clean. The restroom was nice and clean as well. The pool and hot tub was in good condition. Patti in the office was very nice and helpful. My only negative is that they charge $7.99 to read your meter. This is ridiculous. They read the meters on the 25th of each month and then again when you leave, so we had two charges of $7.99 on our final bill. I called and complained and they did remove one of the charges, but I still think it’s wrong to have to pay to have the meter read. NEVER have we ever ran across this before.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The RV spot was a pull through and was spacious. We did not feel we were sharing the space with the neighbors. The staff was excellent and friendly.

Quiet park in Rockport Texas. They were making many improvements to the park while we were there but the staff kept everyone informed of changes. The grounds are very well maintained and the office staff is wonderful. The sites all have concrete pads and were long enough for our 40 ft motorhome with our car.
Nearby activities: Close to downtown Rockport and Mustang Island and port Aransas. About a half hour from Corpus Christie.

Very quiet, close to everything and I really liked that I could bicycle safely to anywhere towards town, pier, beach, etc.

The RV spot is an amazing place to stay but at night they need street lights to see where me and my family are going and light at the entrance as well. The main sign was on during day instead of at night. Also another shower and bathroom location. But most of all a great place to stay.
