We came from Houston for vacation and had an issue with one of our pups, Willow. We called and were told that they were a walk in clinic and to come as soon as we could. Her symptoms stopped for a bit and we questioned the need to go in, but decided that we'd better because of the upcoming w/e. Both on the phone and at the front desk, the staff were polite. They were extremely busy and told me that within the hour they would be down to only one vet. We started out waiting in our car because our pup was coughing. However, even with the air on full blast we were getting hot. They were kind enough to let us come in and they placed us in a private room. Dr. Miller came in and did a very thorough exam. His assistant, Evan, was great with our pup. Dr. Miller explained the differential diagnoses and what he felt was going on, then explained the recommended treatment. His assistant, Evan, was great as well. He came back into the room after Dr. Miller left and talked with us some more. He explained the meds very well. I'm exceptionally picky, because I'm a health care provider for humans. However, had I been a lay person, I feel that I would have left feeling like I had been educated regarding my pup's situation and comfortable with the treatment instructions. Great experience! I saw someone say something about them being expensive. I felt it was reasonable.

I don't really understand the concept of first come first serve for routine veterinarian care. It is easy enough to make an appointment as opposed to waiting for hours on end. This clinic has very unique hours. The unfortunate thing is, you're not given a name or address for after our care. In my case, my puppy had a reaction to the second round of shots she received. I woke up to find her needing the care of the veterinarian immediately luckily, I was able to walk in and get immediate assistance from Bay breeze Animal Clinic. It would be wonderful if the veterinarians would get together in Rockport and have one office a day be 24 hour service.

First come, first serve. I personally like that. I've been there twice. They are well organized and efficient. I thought the vet was patient and thorough with good bedside manner. Prices were fair.

I love this vet! We are winter Texans. They've cared for all my fur babies. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in Texas.

I really love the professionalism of the vet at Rockport Veterinary Clinic. He really knows animals. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of five is that it's kind of pricey. That being said, the vet has returned all of our calls personally when requested.

We have been using Dr. Cruiser and Rockport Veterinary Clinic for over 30 years. There is no one else we would go to. I know that eventually he will want to retire. Wayne and I will 'GREATLY' miss him when that time comes. There is no one more honest and straight forward with his clients and their pets/animals than our "Doc"! Even when it is bad news, Dr. Cruiser delivers the news with respect and compassion to you, your feelings and your pet! We would not have it any other way. Thank you Dr. Cruiser for all the great times and the bad times. We appreciate you!! And, of course, all the ladies in the office: especially, Darlene and Linda!!

Our older cocker spaniel had a medical emergency while we were in Rockport, visiting from Austin. Everyone we dealt with there was so professional, caring, competent and nice. Things running a bit different due to Covid but that is true everywhere. They took care of our dog with compassion and he is on the road to recovery. Thanks to everyone there!

The best of the best! Reasonably priced. Staff is personable and knowledgeable. Dr. Kruiser rocks!! He kept out puppy alive for six years who had multiple complications and when it came time to send him over the rainbow bridge at the ripe old age of 18 years we were treated with the ultimate compassion!

Not a good experience. Front desk personal was rude, uncaring and seemed to busy to talk to me. My cat was in obvious respiratory distress, was told to sit down and wait my turn. Thanks to the Lady that allowed me to go ahead of her. Then they would not let me go back to treatment area with him. Asked my to follow them to the back shortly after, they had put him in a cage and he would not let anybody touch him. I could have told them this would happen, he does not like cages or carriers. That is why I brought him in wrapped in a towel with his harness on and a leash attached. I reached in and he allowed my to retrieve him. Of course his breathing was even worse now due to the added stress. Communication with pet owners is key to providing personalized care. Very disappointed. Will not go back.

I'm thankful for the care we have received here. My poodle decided she could reach the chocolates on the table last Christmas and gorged herself on milk chocolate kisses. She is fine thanks to them. They also help a lady here in Rockport that saves cats from the local shelter. She makes sure they receive excellent care while placing them in no-kill shelters and regaining them. She has an account there in which I donate money. Everyone at Rockport Vets is kind and courteous to me n my 4 fur babies. Thank you Rockport Vet!
