Obsessed is an understatement!! I’m absolutely in love with my hair. Jade did a fabulous cut on my hair. I also had an updo for my wedding done by Kaylee and it was a dream come true. All of the ladies in the studio are super sweet and attentive. Ami the owner is amazing. I can’t wait to come back and have my hair done again!

I needed to have my hair extensions removed with a quickness as I was getting headaches.They were just too heavy. My stylist was not available. I called a few salons and they each referred me to Ami. She got me in within 30 minutes!!! The amazing stylist, Kat (man I hope I remember the name correctly) got them out in no time, and they didn’t charge an exorbitant amount to do so. The salon is quite adorable and so clean. I’ll be back. They gained a new client. I would recommend to anyone.Service: Hair extensions

I came here today and am soooooo happy with my hair! I went to Abigail to fix some banding I had done from somewhere else and she did an amazing job. I had to wait a few minutes for her to finish up and they treated me so well it was crazy! You can tell customer service is priority here. It’s such a cute location too. Every inch is selfie worthy ? and their products are the best! Do yourself a favor and shop around their collection too!

I followed my stylist, Jade Bergstrom, to Ami Kristin! I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist. My husband even went to her to get his hair cut because she was SO GOOD at it!The salon is just wow. I’ve never seen anything like it. Literally the coolest, chicest, fanciest, Gucci-est place I’ve ever been to to get my hair done. Beverages (adult and non-adult) are always spot on. I always felt like I was walking into a magazine shoot.As someone who has family that does hair, I’ve always been very impressed with the skill set here. They honestly do some magic! I can always tell that they get top-notch training and that they’re on the forefront of the industry.Honestly sad I moved out of state. I haven’t been able to find a place like it.

Ami moved over into a bigger space at 102 E Rusk Street. Now has a huge open floorplan, with a 2nd story landing toward the back.Plenty of space for customers & the beauty technicians to provide services. Very clean inside, with warm woodtone colors.On corner of Rusk St / TX 66 at Goliad St, across from historic courthouse building in downtown Rockwall, TX. Parking is the only challenge, but worth the short walk over to Ami Kristin Studio!

?UPDATE? -original post at the end- ??All??the??things ?? when it comes to the ? CUSTOMER SERVICE ?experience here! I had tried several times, several ways to even get ahold of AKS to make an appointment, with no luck. Upon posting here - with the only negative being “hard to get appointments”, several staff members at the studio reached out to me ?QUICKLY?SINCERELY ? ?APOLOGETICALLY ?AMIABLY ? to explain what had happened and fix the situation. I believe that how you TREAT a customer AFTER a mistake (perceived or otherwise) has been made is the TRUE MARK of good looking out! ????✊??????? Thank you, Ami Kristin Studio, for leaping into action to make THIS customer feel heard and appreciated! Looking forward to meeting you ladies in person at my daughter’s CURLY CUT appointment! -original post- Unfortunately, after trying to contact Ami Kristin Studio 3 times via email & phone over the course of a week, I STILL have not gotten a response back. Disappointing, as I was SO looking forward to trying AKS, since 2 of their stylists specialize in curly hair.

Ashley was fantastic! Everyone really was so nice and the salon is super cute and fun. I have wavy hair and really appreciated Ashley's attention, experience, explanations, and techniques to bring out the best in my hair. She did a dry cut, paid attention to my curl pattern, and at the end asked if I wanted product but was not aggressive, pushy, or "salesy" about it. OH and everyone was super accommodating about me having to jump on a work call near the end. Just such a great place and experience.
