I was racially profiled at this location by a new staff and deny service assuming my account was not legit. Which I called the # they gave me and they don’t see any hold or alert on my account and was told I shouldn’t been deny of service. which then I went to my primary bank and gave me no problem with service I need. So yes I was racially profiled from this location due to high profile account I have.

This is the worse location, if you go there for to deposit they take forever and they also serves a people who come after you and make you wait for almost 3 hours.

I receive zero help or assistance from the employees inside the bank when trying to work with a family member's account (yes I have the appropriate legal & binding documentation). I can't get return emails or calls, when I have been inside the bank employees are rude. Worse bank and customer service ever experienced.

A year ago I experienced fraud on my debit card when I was in Mexico. $250+ was paid by Truist out of my account. I tried multiple times to have my money returned. I completed forms and sent emails with receipts showing where I was at the time my info was used. I was told my card was present when the purchase was made and that is completely untrue unless one was fabricated. I even went to the Rockwall branch office and that didn’t help at all. My emails are ignored. I had my bank account there for years and apparently they don’t care. I closed my account and if you’re looking for a bank, I recommend you don’t consider Truist.

If I could give negative stars I would. This bank will drain you of fees and does a horrible job validating your identification. I opened an account online in Sept 2022 and everything was good to go. I sent all required identification and documents to them. A debit card was getting mailed to me and everything was ok. Toward the middle of the month I get an email saying the account wasn't able to open and to call their, "Fraud Department." Called Fraud and was told to go to a bank to speak with a branch manager to clear ID. Went to the one in Rockwall off I-30, waited an hour just to be told the Branch Mgr has an appointment and to come back. I not only wasted time but my lunch as I was working. If you call their phone, no one ever picks up, and their service is terrible. Long story short, I didn't see someone that day and a few days later I get a debit card in the mail thinking everything was cleared up. I trieds to activate it and it wouldn't. I went back on a Saturday morning to be told there were no Branch Managers there that day. I contacted the BBB and CFPB and finally they say give them 30 days. I gave them 35 days and reached back out late October since no one responded. I then submit another complaint to CFPB and BBB and finally got someone to assist. Little did I know she would cause more of an issue as she received the report, credited the fees back to me since I could never use the account, and then I advised her I would go to a branch to withdraw my money and close the account. That was 12/08/2022 and I went to the branch in Dallas off lower Greenville 12/10/2022 and was told the account was closed and they mailed a check. 1) I never told her to close it, I said I would when I go into a branch. 2) Today is now 12/23 and I try to cash the check at a Truist bank off Gross Rd in Mesquite, TX and was told they're going to charge an $8 fee b/c I wasn't a member after I explained all of what happened above. Don't trust Truist, don't waste your money or time.

I have been trying soooo hard to not leave a negative review but then I thought, if no one leaves negative reviews the higher ups in BB&T(now Truist) won’t know why we continue to give low ratings.Someone I know recommended me to open a business banking account with BB&T. Boy has that proved to be a mistake. They are not set up to handle a business that has to make large purchases with their business debit cards; that’s if you call a penny over $6,000 a large purchase. I just tried to make a purchase for $6,111.25, it was declined and now I have to wait for the branch I bank with, Rockwall, to receive an email back so that they can approve the purchase. When I asked how long is that going to take, I was told, “we don’t know, we just have to wait to receive an email back before we can approve it.”They put a lot of restrictions on our accounts and make it very hard to access our money that’s sitting in our accounts. They say it’s for our safety. I get that, but I also am trying to run a business and they have made it very difficult to do so. We also have to remember to tell them EVERY TIME we go out of town if we want our debit cards to work. And I’m not talking very far out of town, it could only be a couple of hours away and if it’s when they are closed, you’re out of luck.Good news! While I was typing this novel, I received a call back saying I can now make my $6,111.25 purchase. ?♂️The people at this branch all seem nice. I think it’s just the way they are forced to operate by the higher ups and all the restrictions that are in place. Anybody listening up there?

This location is close for me, I normally have to travel to Mesquite. Each location has been very helpful and friendly. I will say Jason is super helpful and urgent with any matters I have. Keep up the great work!

The employees are not empowered to help customers. We recently had a situation where we needed some help (due to their mistake) while we were out of town and couldn't get any. The manager was on vacation and there evidently isn't anybody else in the entire company who could help us. While I am sure he has some talents, James should not be allowed to talk to customers. The final straw was being told by another employee they close in 2 minutes while I'm stuck out of town for 2 days and not able to access our funds. Customer service starts with caring about your customers. Just a little common sense and concern would have helped in our situation tremendously.

I have been a customer for quite some time before I chose to leave BB&T for good reasons. One being, the staff are constantly short handed and replaced & the bank manager (Chapman) is incredibly rude who never answers phone calls or calls back. The other staff have been helpful but turnover is an issue. All in all, the manager needs to be replaced by someone who knows what they are doing & are helpful. I wish I could stay because there are friendly staff but the manager Mr. Chapman ruined my customer experience!!
