Smaller menu than the original. The pizza was morphed into a Fratelli's knock-off, and it's not good. The cornmeal is off-putting and grainy. I get it... it works in the oven but not the palate. The mushrooms are bone dry and force you to guzzle water to get them down. I know canned or jarred can be tin-tasting or inauthentic, but a change is needed. 8 teens on staff, but only 3 were working at any one time. One young man ran pizzas to En Fuego. Our cashier and pizza deliverer with th lines in her hair dis the most and seemed u fazed by the horseplay. And finally, the young lady who bussed the table. She was courteous and efficient. Spoke to us about the weather and her 2nd job while efficiently handling her duties (we were the only dine in customers not in the patio).

This newer Campisi’s is 100° different in the original location on Mockingbird. This is a small, bright, open restaurant with a lovely covered patio. It has super comfortable chairs at the small dining tables. It has more of a hip vibe to it. Clearly, this location would appeal more to a younger generation. Although, the outdoor patio is lovely for young and old.?

They do a great job keeping it simple. I don't expect 3 star meals I expect good ole fashioned home cooked Italian food and they always come through.. love

I got a large hamburger pizza and 2 salads and it was almost $40. And the pizza was very burned. I live an hour and a half away so it's not like I could just take it back up there.

I accidentally locked my keys in my car on this windy morning and had to wait for my husband to come rescue me from the far side of Dallas. The woman at the Campisi's counter was sympathetic and allowed me to sign in to their wifi due to my predicament. The delicious pizza (sausage and olives) and salad with their perfect house dressing, along with a warm, sunny table, erased my frustration. (I did share half with my husband!)

The food was awful. I had spaghetti and meatballs and I could not eat it. The salad was drowned with salad dressing. The bread was burned and when asked for replacement they brought more burnt bread. The expensive cost was not worth it. I have eaten at a branch in Dallas and tasted better. If I could give them a 0, I would do so. That is how bad the food was. The staff were helpful and that is why they got 1. We had to spend more money to get decentfood. All I can say is ,if want good food stay away from Campisi Rockwall

Nice location with fair food. Not at all as advertised in terms of quality. A bit overpriced if the quality of food is taken into account. Staff works well and delivers timely service. A nice place for a "once in a while" stop for social gatherings. Not a "go-to" option.

The food was not worth the price, it's typical chain Italian food at a premium.Parking: Parking is usually horrible unless you come at odd hours.
