“A vital and often overlooked community resource that serves diligently and quietly hundreds of county area seniors. Providing not just literally the meals on wheels, but also human interaction and comradeship, serving mental health needs and even going so far as to care for the pets of the elderly. This entire operation is so much deeper and more meaningful than you would imagine at face value. For some of the elderly they visit the interaction with the meals on wheels volunteers is the only human interaction that senior will have in a day.Certainly worth a five star review here on Facebook but more importantly certainly worth a donation of your time to volunteer or money to power the massive effort that they undertake and have undertook for 40 years now.”
