Started as a good experience but turned out very bad. When we picked up dog, she had a patch on her hind leg of missing hair. We were told it was a "Scrape" she got playing with litter mates. Our Vet did a skin scrape and showed me under a microscope that it was Demodex, a type of mange. She also was showing an issue with her permanent teeth coming in. In trying to work it out, we asked for some time to see if teeth came in normally. They did. Ashley told us the Demodex would clear up and dog would be find as her immune system matured. We believed her. However, we found out her mother should never have had pups and our dog would continue to have problems for life. They knew this was to be a Service Dog for me and, I believe, passed this dog off on me to get rid of her knowing it was not a "scrape". How could a "professional" trainer and Breeder and or their Vet not know this dog was sick. Additionally, we paid for the "Advanced" training. I have raised and trained dogs all my life and this dog was no where near trained to anything close to "Advanced". She could sit on command and heal but nothing more and they gave her a CGC certificate. They refunded the $4500.00 for the pup but not the $4500.00 for the training. They refused this as per the contract I signed. However, when you give someone a sick dog that will be sick for life, you should refund the full amount.As a Veteran, I would have to caution any Veteran using and or depending on this Breeder to treat them fairly.

Jaxx (Lirah and Janek) joined our family in March 2022. I was looking for a pup that would be a great therapy dog and who would fit in with our family. They matched us with our boy, perfectly. I have a trainer we’ve been working with and per them Jaxx is the most stable, trainable, and willing to work German Shepherd they’ve seen in close to 2 years. At 6 months he’s the perfect pup. I take him everywhere- he heels perfectly when told, is reliable off leash, I take him out to restaurants, and he is always so well behaved. So communicate honestly with them regarding what kind of pup you’re looking for (working/family/therapy) and they’ll match you perfectly with your next best friend.

From start to finish, our experience with Debut Shepherds was absolutely stellar. Both Lane and Ashley were excellent at communicating, and take matching their dogs seriously- and will help you find the perfect fit for the intentions you have for your pup. They even FaceTimed with us to go over questions and ensure a good fit. We drove from FL to get our pup, and he was worth every mile of the drive there and back. Their property is clean, beautiful house and facility, the dogs are clearly treated like royalty, and they had everything all completely organized and ready to go for us.Our pup has continued to absolutely blow us away on all fronts- he is insanely smart, a very fast learner, loves to work, and is eager to please. Not to mention absolutely beautiful!We can’t imagine life without him now and we are so thankful to Debut Shepherds for our dream dog! (Pictures of our Oberon, 9 weeks old)

Just got our new pup home a few days ago. Will leave another review after we’ve had him for a while. But so far he’s an outstanding dog. Far beyond our expectations. Working with Lane was easy and she was always responsive with our questions. Highly recommend this breeder.

Wow!!! If you’re looking for the best German Shepherd Breeder in Dallas you’ve found it. We welcomed our new addition to the family a month ago and couldn’t have asked for better. Thunder is a beautiful, intelligent, family friendly bundle of joy. At only 3 months old, she has already learned a variety of tricks and is swimming like a champ. After finding Debut Shepard’s online it looked too good to be true. But after talking to Lane we realized this is an amazing breeder at an affordable price. Big thank you to Lane for guiding us through the process and providing us with our new family member. We highly recommend the basic training(thanks Mychelle!) as that gave us a great head start in our adventure of guiding our new puppy. Five stars all the way!!!

I am very happy. I recommend this Breather for everybody they love German Shepherd. I Make a great choice to peek this company . She’s amazing she keep contact with you. She help you with everything you need. She care about the pappy she call me the next day to ask how my pappy is doing. She give me all the information about how I teking care my pappy in the future. I did 6 months of research and spoke with 5 breeders in my area before deciding to drive 4 hours to Debut Shepherds for our puppy. We were looking for a working line breed with good genetics and a trustworthy breeder. I called Lane and she stayed on the phone with me for over an hour answering my questions and helping me decide what was a good temperament for my family. She was actually the ONLY breeder that spoke about temperament of her litters. Others spoke of it as a generality ...but didn't (in my opinion) know their own litters temperament. That was what sold us on Lane. From there, she was always responsive to our texts and giving us updates. We have had our puppy for 3 weeks now and she still checks in to see our he is doing. No regrets at all and will definitely continue to recommend her to others.Update: 3 months later our puppy was having diarrhea that we couldn’t explain and were spending quite of bit of money at the vet. We reached out to Lane for advice and ideas and she was so helpful and beyond that even offered an option that would have us possibly return the puppy to her and pick out a different one. We didn’t have to go that route thankfully , we actually just needed to slow down his training treats and switch the flavor of dog food. We were floored that she was willing to help us with advice and even possibly get a different puppy. I think that’s a testament to how much she stands by her breeding quality. About 3 weeks later she texted to check in on his health and that’s just great customer service.Our puppy is now 7 months old and gets so many compliments on his appearance and he is a great dog with a great personality.

We highly recommend Debut Shepherds and their puppy training programs! After the puppy training, our 10 week old GSD (Britta) knew all of her basic commands and never even had a #2 accident in the house! Lane goes above and beyond to find the perfect fit for you and she even checks in after you bring your puppy home! We will be purchasing another GSD from Debut in the near future and only from Debut!

Lane and debut Shepard’s are nothing short of phenomenal, I asked for a female pup with a high drive and that’s exactly what I got and then some. Lane was awesome to work with and very knowledgeable about the breed. These pups are highly intelligent and looks like a working line Shepard is suppose to look. I was so impressed with debut shepherd that I will be purchasing a male off the Aike and Megan breeding. If your looking for a German Shepard that will exceed your expectations lane and debut Shepard’s are the place to purchase one.Thanks again Lane

I purchased an 8 week old sable male out of Che and Lirah's litter June 1s . The buying process was simple and the contract was easy to understand. I am very pleased with my new dog. Having owned working line shepherds and having worked with them as a police officer. I can honestly say that so far this puppy is lights out the best puppy I've had and it's just been a week. His prey drive and food drive is excellent. He is very attentive and inquisitive. Nothing spooks this dog either. Blow dryer, water hose, cap gun, and two little girls have had no effect.I recommend anyone wanting a quality shepherd purchase from Debut Shepherds.
