We like one stylist, she is great with kids! The manager has a very bad attitude with kids, not very kid friendly, she held my son's head down very hard and but the back of his neck plus on his ear and he is 10 Yrs old and he stays so still doesn't even move, which that's what she was blaming for her cutting him.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???Sunday my husband took my daughter to get her bangs trimmed. I was weary but great clips was the only place open, AND it was BANGS.This is what her hair looks like. WHO CUTS BANGS IN A V FIRST OF ALL???? And not even straight lines. I get people need to make money. BUT IF YOU CANT CUT HAIR, DONT CUT HAIR. It’s going to take us a year to sort this mess out.This is absolutely crazy. This is so needless.They need to stop giving out these licenses to people who shouldn’t them.Gosh I havent been so upset in maybe my whole life. Or at least in a really long time.Yall should be shut down. Hiring people with no skill. It’s okay that you can’t cut hair, I can’t cut hair but guess what I DONT CUT PEOPLES HAIR.But you know what I probably could do? Trim bangs. BANGS THAT WERE ALREADY CUT.You had a well defined guide!! They just needed to be trimmed and you messed them all up. Why would you pull a chunk of her hair forward and cut it? And all jacked up at that ? Yall suck so bad.I uploaded pics but so far they aren’t posted with the review.Edit to add:I’m adding a photo of what her bangs looked like before this cut for reference. Even the most novice person can see that there was no reason to do anything put trim the hair out of her eyes.The manager Jason called me today. His first call he quickly said “we can refund you for the haircut.” He said it to appease me and seemed to be shocked when I didn’t jump on it and told him that I’d call him back.I was busy at the time and I wanted to call him at a later time when I had more time to discuss what happened.We spoke for a bit, he didn’t seem to really care what happened but making it “go away”Jason got very frustrated with me when I turned down the refund plus a year of free haircuts. Which makes no sense to me. Why would I want to go somewhere for a year who has messed up my daughter’s hair this bad?I told him that I wanted to know the name of the person who cut my daughters hair, and what their license number was. (Part of me thought this person may not even have one for how bad this was) He told me that this person packs up all their things, including their license when they leave. (Sure lol) And that they were not going to be in until tomorrow. And that he wasn’t going to go through their things to get the license number for me.I said OK, I will call corporate and get it from them. After that, he said, he will call me tomorrow with her full name and license number.We continued to talk for a little bit trying to figure out how this happened. He came up with a theory that really didn’t make sense to me based on how the hair was cut. And I told him, if that’s what I saw, I would’ve come to that assumption myself and I wouldn’t be having this phone call with you but that’s not what happened.At one point he got really upset with me and said “look I’m trying to make this up to you, but it seems like the only thing that’s going to make you happy, is somebody losing their license”This was incredibly manipulative and unfair.So now, If we encounter services that then affect us ongoing, we can’t say anything because now we have to feel bad if somebody loses their job - is essentially the message that he was conveying. And how is one complaint going to cause her to lose her license? Either he was laying on the manipulation thick or this person has several other complaints.So now I’ve got to sit here all night and contemplate what’s the right thing to do -like somehow the onus is on me for this.A business model of “affordable haircuts” is a great thing. But it shouldn’t mean that it’s a crapshoot on whether you get somebody who can cut hair. That shouldn’t be the trade off. That makes no sense.

Went to the Great Clips at Steger Towne Crossing in Rockwall Texas on Veterans Day, just to get a coupon for a free haircut that Great Clips so proudly provides to veterans, which as a Navy Veteran I always appreciated from Great Clips.Unfortunately what they were giving out at this particular franchise to Veterans were coupons that expired two years ago (2021) and was refused when I tried to redeem the coupon at another franchise before the date it expired, as they said the coupon was expired two years prior and when they tried to redeem it anyway their system refused it because the coupon code was rejected because it was expired.The franchise owners knew what they were doing because I spoke to another franchise owner in Rockwall who said that corporate sends these coupons out to all of their locations directly with instructions to dispose of any remaining coupons after Veterans Day.Sad that the Steger Towne Crossing franchise owners have no respect for veterans or Corporate.I have been a customer of Great Clips for several years and will continue to be BUT I will never go back to the Steger Towne Crossing location!

I asked for swept bangs that blend with my layers. She did not even attempt to blend and didn’t get any bangs. Her cut style was weird, I never faced the mirror. She didn’t converse with me at all, except to insulted my hair while trying to sell me products.

I got my hair cut here and they cut off a good inch of my hairline (my hair is down to my chest in length so it will take months to even out.... last time they messed my sides, now the front. Needless to say I won't be back

Showed a picture of what i wanted. Did not end up with anything remotely close to the picture. She had me facing away from the mirror, i asked to be turned and she replied, hang on. If i could give no stars i would. Seemed to be in a hurry, too close to closing. Worse hair experience ever. Now its so short idk if there is anything that can be done to fix it.Service: Haircut
