Well, folks, let me take you on a journey through my latest adventure at Great Clips—where haircuts are an art and hair washing is an Olympic sport! 🏅✂️
I walked in looking like a sheepdog that just got caught in a windstorm, ready to get my mane under control. The moment I plopped down in that chair, I expected magic to happen. But little did I know I was about to participate in an unintentional comedy show!
The stylist, let’s call her “Rockstar,” approached with confidence, wielding her scissors like a ninja ready for action. With a smile that could’ve melted ice, she asked, “What’s your style today?” I muddled through my request like I was auditioning for a role in a cooking show. “Just a trim, maybe a little off the sides,” I stammered, realizing I sounded as coherent as a cat stuck in a blender.
As she started chopping away, I prepared myself for a smooth hair transformation. What I didn’t expect was Rockstar seemingly channeling a chainsaw artist! I half expected chainsaw sound effects to accompany her furious snipping. 🎶🌪️ I mean, if I wanted to leave looking like I went ten rounds with a lawnmower, I could’ve just rolled around in the backyard!
But folks, the real highlight of the experience came during the wash. As I reclined in that shampoo chair, my neck was treated to an unexpected spa treatment. It was CLEARLY designed for a giraffe. I felt like I was trying to balance on a seesaw while Rockstar worked her magic with the shampoo. Water splashed everywhere! I thought I’d be emerging with fabulously clean hair, but instead, I looked like a wet mop set free in a wind tunnel.
Then, the best part happened: the rinse! I could have sworn Rockstar was auditioning for a role in a water park commercial. I left with a free face mask of shampoo and water running down my back like a waterfall. I think I heard something resembling laughter from the other customers, or maybe it was just my reflection chortling at the sight of me.
Once the hair-drenched chaos settled, I looked in the mirror and...surprise! I wasn't a drowned rat but actually a stylish human being! Rockstar had pulled it off along with an impromptu comedy routine. I left the salon sporting a haircut that was more fabulous than I had anticipated, ready to grace the world with my dry mop look.

Awful experience. Not sure the lady cutting my hair was competent to be cutting hair. On top of that. Was not listening to how I was telling her I want it cut. Put product in my hair without asking. Not once did she use a hair dryer. I would rather let a toddler cut my hair.

Went to another haircut chain yesterday that botched my fade, Stephanie did a great job fixing me up!Also was able to witness Guy with beard and glasses ( didn’t catch name) graciously attend to a family with special needs.As a Public school educator who works with kids it was awesome to see!

My son just received the worse haircut he has ever had. I want our money back to be honest we need to go somewhere to get it fixed. The back was cut way too short with the trimmers and the front is extremely short and uneven. Then, there’s a random long piece of the side of his head.
