Honda of Rockwall consistently drops the ball. I never intended to leave a review or provide feedback; I simply planned to avoid doing business with them again. However, if you ask for my feedback, I'm going to give it, and if you promise to fix something, I expect you to follow through.My husband's experience was horrible for several reasons, but we decided to take our business elsewhere and considered that punishment enough we purchased over 50 vehicles in the last few years and we are always looking for great dealerships to work with. This is not one of them. We recieved a feedback request from Honda so we decided to fill it out, thinking nothing would come of it or that anyone would even read it. We were wrong. The next day, the manager called my husband and asked him to retake the survey because it negatively impacted the salesman who assisted me. He agreed because the salesman did a great job. It was the management that Unfortunately fell short. The manager that called also promised someone would call about Lojack and show how to unlock the doors through the app, but the person who called said Lojack couldn't do that. There was no solution for the overcharging issue, but the main concern was that we retake the Honda survey. The day after Thanksgiving, he called my husband again, not to ensure my concerns were addressed but to ensure he got the Honda survey retaken. We told him that we were still celebrating Thanksgiving and we would do it when we can. After retaking the survey to ensure Marlon didn't get penalized for his manager's poor business practices, it bothered us that we received multiple calls to adjust our feedback but no resolutions to my problems. As a result, my husband left a 1-star Google and Yelp review.We thought that would be the end of it. My husband's feedback was out there, people were made aware, so we considered it done. However, the day after he left the review, the Sales Manager called at 7:43 AM to discuss what happened and emphasize how important the customer experience is to him and the business. My husband explained the situation, and he seemed concerned. He promised to research and call us back, either that afternoon or the next day. Predictably, no call back after two days. So here I am, leaving a review that reflects my experience dealing with Honda Of Rockwall. If you are thinking of buying a car from them, Just don't do it. Click on reviews and sort by lowest, and see how things are handled when they go wrong. Here's a tip for businesses: If you ask a customer for feedback and don't like the negative feedback received, either take the hit or fix the issue. Do not contact them in the hope of getting negative feedback removed or changed unless you are willing to fix the problem. While you may have 3,000 five stars, it's the 500 one stars that will cost you business.

First and foremost, I want to say that Marlon did a great job and almost none of my issues were with him. We purchased a car that it is important to have Honda link compatibility and be able to unlock remotely through the app. I asked if it had it and was told yes. It does not and this effects my business greatly. Second, told them that I would not pay over MSRP other than TTL. They said that they could not do it and after hours there, I left. The manager let me drive away and then called me and asked what it would take to get me to come back. I told him MSRP plus TTL and nothing more. He agreed. I reiterated and said I would be very upset if they changed it on me. He said that he doesn't do business that way so I turned around and went back. After looking at the paperwork, they added a "paint charge" of $500 or so and a handling fee of $1400 or so. This was brought to their attention by a Honda Survey that is sent out where I voiced my concerns and dissatisfaction. The next day the manager called me and asked me to retake the survey because it hurts the salesman that helped me. I agreed because the salesman was great and worked with me but the Management is where they fell short. he also said he would have someone call about Lojack and show me how to do unlock the doors through that app, but the person that called said that lowjack cannot do that. He had no solution for them charging me more than what we agreed, but his main concern was that I retake the honda survey. He was so concerned he called me on a holiday weekend a second time to make sure that I got it and was going to retake it. Not once on his callback did he ask if my issues were resolved. So to reiterate, MARLON IS EXCEPTIONAL and the management and sales practices need to be looked at. This was about 2 weeks ago, Since then I have purchased another new vehicle and sent my brother inlaw to purchase a new Rav4. Needless to say, we did not go back to Honda of Rockwall. I feel back because I purchase a lot of vehicles and had been looking forward to dealing with Marlon for future purchases. Unfortunately, I can't give HOR my business.

We went there Friday Nov.10, 2023 to buy a truck. The truck was advertised for13900. They were replacing wheel bearings. We told them we wanted to buy the truck. Had cash to do so.When they drew up the paperwork it had jumped up to 17,500. I know how much TT&L is so I knew they were adding bull....We left and the next day they raised the price to 17500 as the sale price. Very dishonest people there. I don't know how they stay in business.

Don’t trust in Honda care, spending about $200 for diagnostic my car .Everything mentioned In diagnostic sheets I fixed in a great car service not far from them , with the original parts and less than their prices 6 to 7 times.The funny thing I asked if I like to retreat my car, they let sales man contact me and told me for my Honda 2011 , and 100.000 miles , your car worth $500.Don’t spend your time and visit them.no trust on themI hope I get my stolen money in their stupid diagnosis.

Went looking for a car with my buddy Gavin, Honda is the first stop we made Gavin knew what he was looking for but since the moment that Lesly started talking to us it became an instant hit that we had to do business with this guy. Outstanding customer service, very knowledgeable and transparent guy. Also the finance team was very helpful and considerate of my friends needs.

I would like to commend my sales rep John Williams. We had an issue with a 2023 CRV Hybrid and John advocated for me since the service department and Honda itself didn't know how to fix the issue. I ended up exchanging the 2023 for a 2024 instead. John is awesome! He's a professional and cared about us beyond just selling a car. Even after exchanging the vehicle he still remained in contact to ensure I was happy with the new vehicle and that no more problems arose. I highly recommend him as a sales rep there. He deserves a promotion and is definitely one of their best sales reps! I would definitely purchase another vehicle for him.

I sent my wife’s van for repairs. Dylan was my contact in the service department. Dylan is outstanding! He stayed in contact, kept me up to date with costs and repairs, was straightforward and extremely courteous! Dylan provided a link for east pay, which was expedient. I recommend the Honda Service dept for any repairs needed for your Honda.

My car buying experience was one of the most pleasant, comfortable, and no pressure experiences I've had over the last several vehicles I have purchased from various dealerships over the years. John Williams was my salesman and I appreciated his candor and the fact he didn't waste time "playing games." I closed the deal with Luis in finance. This gentleman was very respectable, honest, and forthcoming. There certain things during the process that I knew he had to say however, when there was a package or option that I was not interested in he did not push the matter at all. Well I was very impressed with my experience at this dealership, as I have had terrible experiences elsewhere with very pushy salesman and finance people.The vehicle I bought was a used Volkswagen with a diesel engine. The car has been great except for the fact that I believe the high-pressure fuel pump may be going out. I don't fault Honda of Rockwall for this since Honda does not manufacture or sell diesel engines. The issue is intermittent, and I am willing to accept the possibility that they simply just did not know this issue existed during the time they had the vehicle. However, despite that set back, I am still satisfied with my experience and would consider going back should I ever need to purchase another vehicle.

If I could leave no stars for this business I would. Do not do business with these people. They sold my child, a first time car buyer a used truck for an inflated price and the truck had multiple issues including, but not limited to a destroyed differential, front end damage and leaks in every system. They refused to fix the issues and stonewalled us at every turn giving us multiple phone numbers and never connecting us with a manager who could address the issue. The truck is now, after a week, un-drivable and will take thousands of dollars to fix. Do not buy anything from them.

DON'T BUY USED CARS FROM Honda cars of Rockwall!!!I recently purchased a used Subaru WRX from Honda Cars of Rockwall (its 34 miles from where I live) and want to share my experience. I test drove the car for 10 mins and really liked the car and decided to buy it. After I took it home, realised the speaker (Audio) was not working as I was unable to make calls using the bluetooth due to the crackling noise. I took it back to the dealer, they agreed to order the part and replace it. I took it back to get the part replaced. They replaced the part but missed replacing the cover below the dashboard that left a gaping hole - I had to call them back and they are now ordering that piece. In the meanwhile, noticed the headrest on the rear seat is missing - When i reported this, I am told by the sales person who sold me the car that his general manager says they will not replace the part as i should have inspected this before buying the car! The whole reason we go to dealership to buy car is that they would have inspected the car. I was not told about the missing part and I looked up its going to cost me over $400 when I already paid $27,000 for the car! Very bad experience

I didn't have a great experience, but when I wrote a review, the very next day, I received a call from the GM of the showroom. He expressed concern about my experience, offered his apologies, and requested that I visit the showroom again. He assured me that he would ensure I get a good deal and also mentioned that he would make sure no other customer has to go through a similar experience.Thank you, sir, for your call; I really appreciate it."

Sales experience terrible. Did end up buys car only because we really liked it but salesman was terrible. So was followup. We had to call several times to get tags.

Chad malock and the honda team, took very well care of me. Kept me updated with what was being updated on my car. Super respectful, helpful and overall good customer service experience. This my second honda visit i can say it won’t be my last. Look forward to my next visit when it is needed. :3 Thank you to all the hardworking people who worked on my car. Shannon was awesome! I appreciate that the team is working hard to overcome challenges of technology in automating some processes that are meant to be helpful but sometimes doesn’t replace relationship. The service team got my service done quickly and they stand by their work. It is a busy service department and they do their best to be as efficient as possible. Thanks!
