If I could put 0 stars I would. We have been using Lakeside for quiet some time. I have no idea what happened to this place but wow. Take your vehicle elsewhere for service! Buy your vehicle elsewhere!!! If you like lies, BS, and voice-mail this place is for you!!!! They don't return calls, lie to you about when it will be diagnosed and finished because they don't want to rush their mechanics. While your car is sitting in the parking lot 5+ days plus to be diagnosed. They are going to make sure it takes just as long if not longer to fix it. (Even when parts are in stock). Do waste your time or money here.

Lakeside is costing me Thousands $$$$!!! A few months ago Chuck Hawkins the service writer had Lakeside perform the GM Certified 90k service on my Equinox. They did not perform the service accordingly. After less than 10k miles since my service I'm now having serious issues with my Equinox. I have an extended warranty just incase something like this would happen. But since Lakeside service didn't do the 90k service correctly my warranty is now void!!! So I'm now stuck with a $3,200 shop bill out of pocket plus a voided warranty due to Chuck Hawkins and Lakeside service department team. I spoke with the Service Manger/Wendell Bolden and he basically said "opps we did miss that". He and the GM/Chris Thompson are unwilling to help us at all. Even after they admitted they missed the items on my 90K service voiding my warranty. The lack of accountability from the GM, Service Manger and The Service Writer is ridiculous and I highly triple check the work they perform on your next service.

I bought a car here a few months ago, already has a bad transmission and overheating issues. When I purchased the vehicle, Jason Lenamond said they would "not leave us hanging" if the car had any issues. Clearly, he lied as they have refused to help in any way. Don't trust this dealership; one day I'll find an honest salesman, but it won't be here.

i purchased a used vehicle from Lakeside Chevrolet in March of 2022. The vehicle was exactly what I wanted or I would have walked at numerous points during the negotiation and purchase process.From the Sales Person's personality to the detailing of the vehicle, the rolled into the price ForeverWarranty Program (The price was rolled into the sale price with no demostrated way to opt out.) the purchase was not a pleasant eperience.There are plenty of other Chevy Dealerships to choose from. I got the vehicle that I wanted. Wish I could have found it elsewhere in NE Indiana.

Hello. May 24 2023 my elderly mother and stroke disabled sister go in to have their car checked. They walk out with a new loan and much smaller car. The "trade in" was under warranty!!!! So the dealership took advantage of a senior and disabled adult knowing their car could have been repaired for FREE by the manufacturer. Yet they decided it was best for them to get a NEW loan and much smaller car. Please only shop here if your knowledable about your options otherwise stay away.

Brought my truck here for a transmission fluid flush, I waited for it in the lobby. I was actually blown away by how fast they got it done, Service Advisor was very nice and good at his job. I was happy with everything and i was very satisfied with the price of the service i got done. My only complaint was that when i got my truck back and i got in it, it smelled absolutely disgusting like the tech that moved it in/out of the shop had some gnarly B.O. and my steering wheel had a greasy/dirty feeling like he did not wash his hands or remove his dirty gloves. It's disappointing because I am a technician that works for a dealership servicing Semi Trucks, and the rule is always to get someone clean to move a vehicle if you are too dirty/gross to do it.

I purchased a 2020 Silverado Custom. It had one set of keys but the salesman said he would get the second key from the previous owner. It has been two weeks and no one from the dealership will return calls with any info. I have requested ETA of key and whether or not the dealership will make me a key and fob. Some person emailed me to say salesman and finance would get a hold of me. nothing yet.

Terrible service. Argumentative GM and ok with selling brand new vehicles with issues and don't do anything to try to right the wrong. The owner doesn't respond to emails and once you sign the paperwork they consider you done . If you're interested in integrity, compromise, communication, and getting great service don't waste your time here. Double checking on my supposed ordered part and the business recognized the part order but said that they had no record of the order number. So basically I get a 2023 Equinox with a screen I can't even see my maps half the time

I was told to bring our vehicle in to get a "pre write" done for our warranty issue and that they would call me in a couple of days to bring it back. Said the employee who could diagnose the issue was out with a personal business matter. Three weeks later with no responses from the service writer, I called and spoke with the person who wrote the initial RO. The service writer told me ironically that "you were literally next in the queue to be called". Yeah, okay. Took it in at 7:30 and then was told it would be 48 hours before they could look at it. I would need to leave it with them. At the 72 hour mark, I called for an update. Was told that there were 14 other vehicles ahead of mine and that they were just backed up and haven't had a chance to diagnose it. Remember, I was "next in the queue ". As I expressed my dissatisfaction with their process and total lack of transparency, the service writer simply apologized for the inconvenience of not having our vehicle for a week. The service writer then said they would "get right on it to see what they could find out ". I received a call about an hour later to be told that the issue didn't come up and there was nothing they could do at this time. I told the service writer I was coming to get our vehicle. When I got my key, I was told, "now if that message comes up again, just bring it back in and we will replace that module ". I will not darken this dealerships door again. I would never pay them anything for this unprofessional treatment and level of service that I received. Let the buyer beware.
