Mr. Sparky was great to work with. He kept us informed and handled everything with the extended warranty company. Very upfront with everything, no surprises and didn't make me feel like he was trying to take advantage of me.

Dont take your car here...my tranny went out for the 2nd time. The 1st time Lonestar rebuilt tranny it lasted 5000 miles. Sparky rebuilt it again under warranty and here it is 10,000 miles later needing another tranny. Stay away from these junkies..my new tranny guy took it apart and confirmed these guys installed used parts....old torque converter, used clutches and steels, old bushings, filter wasnt on properly, a clip and band missing

DONT BELIEVE THE RATING! they’re not a good mechanic shop! They charge you for towing and diagnosis. A complete opposite to what they have posted on their doors! If their mechanics arent there they make you leave your car there and charge you for leaving it there. If you want to save money go to another shop. This place isnt it. Easily 0 stars.

If I could rate zero I would. Worst communication I have ever received from a place of business. Took my car in for a quote on a transmission. Took over one week. When I declined my service it took 3 days to get my vehicle back. Was charged for a battery that I did not agree to purchase and never even received a receipt for the item I purchased. Gave my credit card information to the owner. He wrote it down and took two days to charge me, which means my card info must of been laying around for who knows to see it. I am sure the company must do good work but overall I did not receive any proper communication and got terrible customer service.

My son took his truck here to have a Flowmaster put on. Fast service and a very reasonable price. The truck sounds great! I will definitely be returning here for all my vehicle repairs. Thanks Sparky!

Absolutely horrible, truck was there for a week and a half and they kept saying it would be ready but I would call or go check on it and nobody knew nothing about anything. Do not go here.

Honest guys! Toyota wanted over $4000 to replace my transmission after running a full diagnostic. Lonestar said it needed a simple repair and I appreciate their honesty. UPDATE - 10/30/23 We just traded the Toyota Tacoma mentioned above. The transmission was still perfect after 240,000 miles. No problems with the repair in 8 years and 130,000 additional miles

We have had two transmissions replaced with these guys and numerous other repairs. They are honest and do quality work at great prices! I had been taking to dealer or other shops. They found things the other shop had broken. One shop located near Lavon had placed antifreeze instead of windshield wiper fluid in my vehicle during oil change apparently. Another shop in Lavon charged us over 400 for a battery replacement. We are so thankful we found Sparky.

This caused us to have to replace the pump and hoses. Needless to say, we are so thankful we found Sparky!
