I am really disappointed in Pecan Tree Pediatrics. My daughter has been a patient since she arrived in this world. I gave poor and fair ratings only because my toddler was misdiagnosed and the appointment was a complete waste of my time. I brought her into you guys care because a mother’s intuition knows. She had been sick 5 days and using over the counter meds which wasn’t working and why I brought her into you care. ( runny nose, cough, rattle in her chest and back barley able to breathe properly while sleeping). Her doctor barely touched her and we were told “oh she’s fine and to continue to use the over the counter meds and she should be good to go in 3 days it’s just a common cold.” I did explain that the over the counter meds that her doctor named off weren’t working which is why I brought her in what other options do we have? Her doctor then tells me she would be fine. I then asked for a covid, RSV, flu testing and was told that my results would be back in later that afternoon… no call back. I called three times on Friday to get the results myself and left a message to whom ever are in labs to obtain those result and they failed to return my calls back. After my appointment I did not feel comfortable bringing my child back home just to rest and continue to give the same medication what wasn’t and hasn’t worked since she’s been sick for 5 days. So I took matters into my own hands and had my child seen by another doctor at a hospital who INSTANTLY stated soon as he walked into the room that he did not like how she’s breathing barley walking into the room. She was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection antibiotic and breathing treatments were giving and as of today my child is doing better than ever. Pecan tree has to do better and I am very upset you guys. You all are quick to have your hand out for co pays and payments each and every single visit but not giving the service that it deserves. This is the second time my child has been in and has been told “oh she’s fine” and sent on her way and it’s beginning to look more like a racial issue. I will be calling in today to try and get my child’s results and hopefully someone answers my calls.

We started with these guys when they first opened up back in 2010. They were great at first but have gone downhill since. Had an appointment for 1:30 for one of our kids, showed up and had to re-fill out a mountain of paperwork (for a kid that has been there before) when we turned it in, we were told that its now past the appointment time we wouldnt be seen.

Do not know how to treat babies with compassion or care. It’s seems to be all business. Never coming here again when a simple blood test was supposed to be a simple procedure but ended up being traumatic because the nurse did not know how to be gentle, nor explained what to expect. Yes babies cry, but there is something wrong when I have my baby girls blood on my hands because the nurse does not know when to stop nor how to read the baby or the situation. I am a combat veteran and have given my share of IV’s to other soldiers and know how to treat people with dignity.

We love our pediatrician Dr. Jacobs. She is kind, compassionate, and caring. I feel like my daughter is getting excellent care every time we see her. I also would like to say that Amy is by far one of the best triage nurses. She is always so wonderful every time I have ever called with concerns and I feel like she truly cares about her patients. She is very detailed and clear with explaining things and she addresses every single concern I have without being dismissive. She 100% makes this first time momma feel a million times better whenever I’m worried about the slightest thing.

I absolutely love Dr. Jacob. She sees both my girls and she has the best bedside manner, she is thorough, and by far one of the most compassionate people treating patients that I have met. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Jacob and staff for being so incredible.

We love our doctor, the nurses, even the one front desk lady was nice, but the check in system is ridiculous!! I have four children and I fill out the same information for every child. And they will say once you fill it out once you don’t do it again, but even the “shortened” check in system is ridiculously long and redundant.

Very unprofessional. I didn’t feel like they cared about us, we were just “one” more. Didn’t feel like they cared. Didn’t feel comfortable with the Dr.

I love the office workers and our kids' doctor, but the new check in system is awful. Since we have four children, we go to doctor's appointments quite often, and having to fill out the same information before every visit is annoying. And, yes, it is the same information over and over again. Even though it only takes 5 minutes; it is ridiculous to have to complete the same information for every visit.

Check in through txt is quick and convenient. I saw comments regarding check in being a frustrating process it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to be honest. I’m sure those parents are on Facebook or any other social media platform etc longer than 5 min lol. The front desk ladies are always welcoming and kind. The reminder texts regarding insurance or appointment dates are so helpful for this sleep deprived mama. The nurse is also very gentle with my baby. The doctors take their time and answer any questions that you might have. Very pleased so far Thank you.

Let me start with the check in process. Absolutely ludicrous. I have to check in online, fine, but to ask any busy parent to set aside 20 minutes to do paperwork, baffling to me. Then when you finally finish the paperwork, the next day you get another text or email saying you need to resubmit the exact same paperwork you spent 20 minutes doing. Either figure out your system or do something else. Parents don't have a spare 20 minutes to fill out paperwork. Next let me address the pushiness and rudeness of your staff, specifically your nurses. I think there's about 2 nurses on staff whom are kind when I say I want to hold my children for vaccines, the rest tell me, you HAVE to catch up on vaccines or your child will get sick or die and you need to lay them down and hold them still. Really? Scare tactics don't work on us and we don't appreciate it. And finally, the doctors at this office are becoming way too pushy with vaccines and shoving their parenting beliefs onto parents. I'm here for medical advice, not parenting advice. We've chosen to delay vaccines and everyone at this office knows this. Instead of asking which vaccines we're doing for the day we are TOLD we have to do 6-8 vaccines that day, we're not doing that. Learn to treat parents and children with respect instead of ostracizing them because they have different beliefs than you.

I love our doctor but I'm fed up enough with the new "echeck" in to look for a new practice.I'm inputting the same information over and over for each appointment and it doesn't transfer between kids or really save from one time to another. How many times do you need to know who referred me to your practice when I've had a patient there for three years and have two kids. If there's a human standing there why do I need to use my cell phone to do something extra? It's like they're using the lite version of MyChart and it's only got the one barely working feature. If you're going to have an online platform then I want the full version where I can message a doctor, schedule online, and get actual after visit summaries. I'm not sure the doctor is worth all the inconvenience.

Great team. Only complaint is they get stingy with antibiotics which sometimes slows down recovery causing me to take extra vacation days to care for children. This may be across board post pandemic. I would always recommend this office.

All 3 of my children go here with Dr. Zavadil. She goes above and beyond and getting in for sick visits is usually easy here.

My family has had nothing but issues with this pediatric group. Scheduling, quality of care, thoroughness are just some examples. Simply put you fail to properly take care of your patients. If you would like a more thorough explanation feel free to call me. You have my information.
