Good friendly staff and got my deer processed in a timely manner. Good price to get it processed also. Would recommend. They do get busy during the season. So expect a little bit of time to get your meat back.

I hate to come on here and leave a bad review but I’m tired of not getting calls back and getting to the bottom of this problem. We took in a small doe to be processed this last season the morning after I had shot her. Did a neck shot. Quartered her up and put her in a cooler with bags of ice to keep the meat from spoiling overnight. Well we drop it off at about noon or so that next day and I can do smells but the smells coming from that shop were rancid. Definitely not like they clean up a little bit after every day they finish working which could explain why my meat smells like a rotted dead cow out in the hot summer heat. Whether it’s frozen or thawed it smells so bad my husband nor I can stand to cook it. So not only did we waste $200 for maybe 35 lbs of meat which money isn’t what makes me sick about the situation it’s that we trusted someone to handle our FOOD that we eat properly and in a sanitary matter and they didn’t so now we have wasted 35 lbs of meat that we can’t even eat. Definitely recommend taking your meat elsewhere.

Great people. Everyone was patient, helpful, and even worked late to make sure everything was sorted. Never felt rushed and was talked to about all my options. Second time here and 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Rockwall Deer Processing's customer service is top-notch. Last November, I killed a black bear in North Carolina. Typically, I process my meat but did not want to mess with an entire bear, so I called them up on my way home. They opened their shop and let me drop my bear off, and within a week, my meat was done and ready for pick up. Fast forward to a week ago, and I was in a blind on my way home with my wife’s red stag, and I was turned down by so many processors I was already passing on my way home, and I remembered Rockwall pulling me out of a bind last year, and I figured why not try them again. Mind you, this is also after hours; the owner picked up and told me that he would open his doors for me once again and allow me to drop off my wife's stag. Once again, within a week, I got my animal completely processed and returned to me. He also allowed me to store the stag and his antlers in his cold storage until the taxidermist had time to get it. I can tell you right now that these guys are about their customers, and they do a great job processing your meat in any way you want. I will forever be a customer, and if you don’t give them a try, that is your loss. Thank you, Rockwall Deer Processing, for understanding that customer service is a top priority!

TLDR: They outsourced all of my sausage to Cinnamon Creek for processing and charge appx double what Cinnamon Creek charges and I feel like I was shorted on output by about 30%. Great at Euro Mounts, Ground meat was fine. Overall I would recommend saving $150 -$200 per deer and just drive the meat to Cinnamon Creek myself.
I took my deer here to be processed, the staff was nice and professional so no complaints there. The 2 Euro Mounts I have done look great. However when I dropped off my deer, the gentlemen behind the counter raved how they had the best butcher around and that they keep all the deer separated and since I got all sausage, that it would be about 12 weeks and "anywhere who gets your sausage back faster than that is not giving you back your meat". I paid $370 to get all sausage products made and any remainder into ground. I dropped off 4 quarters appx 50lbs of meat. When making sausage they advertise that they mix in appx 40-50% pork which would should almost double your order. When I have got deer back from other processors that has always been the case. If you use 40lbs of deer meat to turn into sausage you almost always get at least 70lbs back.
When I picked up my order, the first thing that caught my eye was I only had the appx 40lbs of sausage that I placed for on the order sheet. The second was when I got home and started putting everything in the freezer, I noticed that all of the sausage products had cinnamon creek (a processor in Roanoke) stickers on them. Strike 2. Then when I went to the price list on Cinnamon Creeks website almost everything was appx 40-50% cheaper than Rockwall Deer processing's price list.
The reason I dropped the meat off at Rockwall deer processing is because it is on the way home from the lease. Due to the lack of transparency, high prices, and the fact that they weren't even the ones that processed most of the meat, I will opt to save the appx $200 and just take my deer directly to Cinnamon Creek (1 hour 10 minute drive from RDP to CC) or find another processor in general. The sausage from Cinnamon Creek is really good, however I have no way of knowing is that was my deer or not.
I would not recommend for meat processing.
I would recommend them for Euro mounts. (Only reason for the second star)

I've taken my 2 deer here and both times I've been extremely satisfied with the results. The first (doe) I brought here I let them handle the backstraps as well, and only got 8 backstraps medallions (wrapped in bacon) back. That is the only complaint. So this year I pulled the backstraps from my buck myself. I splurged this year and got the jalapeno summer sausage and its DELICIOUS! I sat at my island and ate up half an entire log by myself. 100% recommend getting that. All of their breakfast sausage is fantastic as well (get the hot if you like a kick). I will be coming here for years to come, great work!

ATTENTION! THIS PLACE IS HAUNTED BY A GHOST THAT RESIDES IN AN ANCIENT INDIAN STATUE. I've SEENT it! PATRONS BEWARE! ....but the chipotle deer sausage is to die for. 3 of 5 stars. Because of the ghost.

I understand that orders are still TBD until finished, but having the remaining balance go from 100 to 210 is insane. They also told me it would take two weeks when it took over three and I specifically told them I was moving out of state in two weeks. Wouldn’t trust them again that’s for sure

The most recent review by Ben Magee was totally false. I was a customer standing aside waiting to be taken care of and I heard the whole conversation. Not only was his total just $79 which is the cheapest order I’ve heard from this place ever, it was also just a $15 fee he was upset over. And the man at the counter doesn’t run the place. He has nothing to do with finances. I’ve brought plenty animals up here and have never had an issue. The prices for sausage are high but sausage prices are just as high everywhere else. The customer service between the man at the counter and the customer was nothing to complain about. They were respectful the entire time. I heard the entire conversation. The customer in this instance was in the wrong. In his review he says the man at the counter said “the owner doesn’t care” which is not true at all. The man said he wasn’t paying the $15 and the man at the counter said he would have to get the law involved because that is theft of service. And when the man asked what the owner would think he was told the owner would be in agreement with the law. Refusal to pay for a service is theft of service. The processing fee is $100 which this man did not even have to pay. He claimed to own a business but apparently has no understanding of how one works. Pricing is the only thing I can think of worth complaining over and his order, like I said, is the cheapest one I’ve seen out of Rockwall Deer Processing. I’ve never spent less than $200 here. But do not let the one false bad review fool you. Rockwall Deer Processing is a great place with amazing customer service. They also are the only place in North East Texas that still Processes wild game/anything not USDA regulated. So good luck finding anywhere else nearby. Rockwall Deer Processing is amazing.

First time ever using them, drop off was quick and easy, I received the phone call my deer meat was ready way before they planned on having it done and everything came back excellent, I’d highly recommended giving Rockwall Processor a opportunity to earn your business I will definitely use them for now on

Do not read these poor reviews and think they are worth their weight. Started this beautiful day with a perfect kill on a perfect buck and I immediately carried it down to Fate Texas to the deer processing center. I was greeted by Stephen a fellow veteran who assured me he could take care of me from beginning to end walked me through the pricing and everything was cut and dry very clear very professional. I'm not sure what these people think that are complaining on here when they don't have to have their elbows deep in a carcass all day long especially with fuel and meat at these prices you need to show some gratitude to these men and women that are processing your meals for you so you can keep your hands clean and your nice pretty pickup truck. I'm very thankful for the professionalism, timeliness, clarity, and respect shown to the animal by Steven himself. Definitely recommend
