This place is a scam!! ALL they want to do is take your money!! Told me to bring in my car after I had a recall update done. My check engine light had been on before the recall and the recall temporarily fixed it. I called ford after it came back on because the sales rep said it may need to be recalibrated after I left the first time. I was already aware of the code my check engine light was throwing, but one of the mechanics proceeded to sell me on that they could figure out the exact components wrong with my car that is causing the code —other parts etc with what they called a “diagnosis” $150. I get there and they act like they have no recollection of the recall they performed. No other work was done on my car besides them putting the car code reader in and telling me what I already know. I will not be coming back even for further recalls. Waste of time and money!! Stay away!!!

Simply the worst customer experience I’ve had. Went in for a standard oil change, service checkup before I drove home for the holidays. No real issues with my car at this point, just wanted to double check before an 8-hour drive. They alerted me I needed new brake pads, which made sense, so I paid $600 to get that fixed. Not even 12 hours later, on my drive to work, my car has broken down completely. Alignment so bad it’s terrifying to drive. Called the Ford service department again and explained this must have happened when they installed the new brake pads. They refused to believe that and chalked it up to a coincidence that this happened 12 hours after my standard service checkup. Gave me a quote for $5,000 dollars, which had I known I had this much work needed, I would never have paid for the brake pads. Not only that, but I firmly believe it was a mistake their “junior techs” created. So, long story short, my car has minimal trade-in value and I’m out $600. The fact that they refused to budge and work with me on that speaks volumes. But what’s most concerning is the techs that did the installation of my brake pads. Had I never taken my car to Rockwall Ford for an oil change, I wouldn’t be in this position, out a lot of money with a car I can’t even trade in. Would never recommend to anyone.

I can say without a doubt, my experience at Group 1 Ford of Rockwall was the most pleasant new vehicle purchase I have ever experienced with a brick-and-mortar dealership. My salesman Danny was always helpful, respectful and made a genuine effort to assist my purchase of a 2026 Ford Maverick. No nonsense dealership that doesn't force you to negotiate away add-ons you never requested.

I went to Group 1 Ford of Rockwall to replace my vehicle that I had sold. I met the most genuine, and informative salesman Danny Carder! He showed me all the preowned vehicles they had on the lot and knew all of their details. He is personable and no nonsense. I didn’t buy a vehicle that day, but when I’m ready, I will definitely go see Danny!
