We went here to see Zach Top. It was fun because we got to see him. However, I think they need to upgrade the stage. Also need to figure out how to have a better system with getting beer. Waited total of 3 hours for beer! 1.5hr for ticket to get a beer then another 1.5hr to get the actual beer and they were only allowing to purchase two beers per person. Those were the only turn offs for me. We had an amazing time because of the artist!

We enjoyed the fair, the rides were fun, we arrived around 4 until 6 it was easy to move around after that there were too many people and was difficult to walk, but at the end it was fun, food wise overpriced and bland, although we found the only BBQ place in there and that was really good ? sadly I don't remember the name of the place.

Still a great and fun with the family. Havent been here on years, but not a whole lot has changed. The prices have increased a bit, but what hasn't, still decent food, funnels cakes and turkey legs! I wasnt thrilled by my $11 griddle cooked burger, but my family enjoyed their food. The rides are still fun, though the new wristband system can have lines backed up for quite some ways. The rodeo was fun, watching the wranglers so close from the stand as opposed to being so high up at NRG is a nice experience.

The BBQ Cookoff is a must for our family since we experienced it last year! There is food and music! Be prepared for the heat of Texas and come with a great attitude to have a great time!
The fairgrounds need a little TLC along with the restrooms since they feel as if you are in a sauna. AC would be nice!

My family and I were removed from our reserved seats at the rodeo because their system glitched to double book the seats and they favored the other folks because they were patrons and white. It was such humiliating, embarrassing, and traumatic experience and all they could offer was refund which I refuse to accept as a compromise.

Getting here is not bad but leaving the fairgrounds is painful. People driving too fast on TX-36. I couldn't make a left turn from the main entrance. I wish the county would make changes on the roadway.
