We moved to Rosenberg 3 years ago. Tried another day care first and I withdrew within 3 days. Awful experience. Found this one and we LOVE it! We now have 2 kids and they both go there. My kids are ALWAYS happy, well cared for and Ms. Susie is AMAZING! My oldest just started in her preschool program this year and she comes home singing and can already sight read some words. Kelly (the director) is practical and extremely nice to talk to if anything ever comes up. Ms. Maria, Ms. Kim & Ms. Miranda are absolute gems in this world. We actually need to move but won’t for now because of the daycare. I probably should have written a positive review sooner but time got away but my kids came home Friday just SO happy and singing songs they’d learned that I felt compelled. Thank you for taking such good care of our kids. I hope your business thrives for more decades to come.

I love this daycare! My son went his first day here and then after about 2 years we moved. We couldn’t stay away for too long tho, so we are back! Mrs. Kelly is amazing and I am very grateful I found this place.

If I could give zero stars I would. This daycare facility that takes place at Frost Elementary is not only UNSAFE, but unorganized and understaffed. The incident that was unsafe is when my husband who had never picked up our child, met the staff, etc. went to pick him up and was not only let in the facility, but was never asked for his ID and was able to walk out of the school with a child! I emailed the owner that evening to let him know that I will be withdrawing my son immediately due to the incident and have still not heard back from him. Of course I withdrew my son and tried to contact the owner by phone and email (5x) requesting the 2+ weeks of payment for the remainder of the month to be refunded and he has ignored every attempt contacting him.Unorganized - kids are running amuck and crawling on the cafeteria floor that is filthy from the school day. Crawling under the lunch tables, etc.Understaffed - only 2 employees watch 60+ kids of all ages.I would NOT recommend this daycare facility! Anyone can obviously be let in and take a child. And the fact that I have contacted the owner multiple times and never got a response is not only unprofessional, but obviously he has no concern about the safety of the children under the care of his staff.

We love this daycare!! I have never felt so comfortable leaving my baby with anyone, but the infant classroom teachers are wonderful and from my understanding have been there many years which made me feel even more comfortable that it’s not a revolving staff! They truly care for the babies and it shows! :)

Horrible customer service. The owners are never there and impossible to get a hold of. I enrolled my son back in August 2018 at the Gingerbread House on 4th Street with Mrs. Kelli, and he was supposed to start at the end of January. I paid a total of $390 using my credit card to secure his spot and was told that it would cover the first and last week of daycare plus the registration fee. In December my husband and I decided we were no longer going to be needing daycare services so I called to request a refund. I called several times and visited twice but could never get in touch with either Mrs.K or Mrs. Kelli. I left serveral messages as well with staff for them to call me back. I finally got in touch with Mrs. Kelli and she apologized and said she’d gotten my messages but had been busy with arranging Santa Claus for the holiday and said they would mail me a check for $180. I asked why $180 when I paid $390 and she said because of the registration fee. I had a hard time understanding how a registration fee could cost $210. I wasn’t sure how much the registration fee was since I didn’t have any paperwork on me so when I got home to check I called back and again was unable to get in touch with the owners. My son never received any care at the establishment so why are they charging me $210 in fee when an employee told me it’s $75 to register there when I called back. I still haven’t been able to get in touch with them to resolve the issue because they are never there. We’ve had a horrible experience and our son hasn’t even gone there.UPDATE: Mrs. Kathy mailed me a check and a nice note for the other half of the tuition I’d paid totaling a refund of $320. Thank you, I appreciate it. However I did have to email the director of the Gingerbread Academy several times prior to receiving the refund, but nevertheless I am grateful that my money was refunded. She attached a copy of the page that stated fees being nonrefundable, but it clearly states “fees” as $70 and “tuition” as $160 per week. My understanding is fees are associated with registration, and tuition is for actual services rendered, which he never received so I still felt justified in receiving the refund. I’d advise GBH to update wording in their paperwork to address this issue for future patrons.
