This is regarding the service department. This place is a joke as others have said. The last 3 times I've come here it seems to always be a run around.11/8/22 approximately 3:30pmish. This most recent time I brought in my 2015 red Equinox. It needed breaks and rotors change. I get a quote by Jessica who answers the phone and so I bring it in and meet with Michael. Michael takes my car around 3:30 and says it can be ready by the next day and they'll text me once they confirm it's the breaks. 11/9/22 10:53am I get a text saying Michael is out this is Walter and yes the breaks and rotors need to be replaced and I am given a quote in text and then a break down in writing/PDF at 11am. I agree to the price (it's similar to what Jessica told me) and say move forward. At 1:27pm I get another text stating that the price they originally gave me in writing, $1121.34 is not the correct quote. The price is now $1679.78. I said what why!? I'm told because I have a 2500 so the price is more for my breaks. At first I had no idea what the service rep was talking about and ask for a manager to call me. Jamie the manager calls me almost immediately and repeated what the sales rep had text me but with an arrogance. He basically repeated exactly what my text said saying, "you have a 2500 and so it's more expensive. Sorry, what do you want me to do about it?" I said, well hours ago you gave me another price and you've wasted my day and time. I requested I pick up my car without being charged the inspection fee. I then called a different mechanic and read the text to him and his first question is what are they talking about 2500? I then with the mechanic on the phone, text the GMC sales rep again and say what are you all talking about a 2500. I am told this:the 2500 is the type of truck you have, theres a 1500 which is a normal sized then you have your 2500 which is a little heftier and the 3500 which is normally a dieselMy other mechanic and I both said, WHAT!? I have an Equinox!!!I text back I have an Equinox there is no 2500! I then go to pick up my car. Tell the sales rep I'll be there in 20 minutes. When I get there of course the "manager" Jamie is "at lunch" at 2:20 in the afternoon. When you know you just screwed up, the customer is on their way and you leave to lunch.I get there to the service department. The service reps available offer to continue with the break job on my car. I said no! My car has been sitting there since the afternoon from the day before. 2 departments and at least 3 people including "the manager" Jamie don't know what the hell they're talking about but you all want me to trust you with putting breaks on my Equinox! You GMC employees can't tell the difference between an Equinox and a 2500 Pickup truck! I asked, so what if I agreed to the $1600+ price, what would have happened then!? Y'all were just going to take my money? They didn't have an answer.I've called back to get feedback from Jamie, he has been avoiding my calls. Take your money and business elsewhere. Jamie you are a pathetic excuse for a "manager". At least be man enough to apologize for your arrogance and total screw up! You can call me at the drop of a dime to try to charge me more money but you can't call me after 2 business days now, to speak for your mistakes.

If you are looking forward to getting treated like complete trash, Please by all means, come visit GMC in Rosenberg! if you really want to get the full experience of horrible service treatment ask to get serviced by Robert Winston. This place is a complete nightmare and lacks basic customer service, and basic knowledge of what they get paid to do. Imagine, taking your car in for a blinking engine light, and getting charged $15 bucks for the technician to preform a test drive LMAO. In Roberts own words, " Hello the technician needs gas so can preform a test drive on your vehicle so do you approve 15$ in gas?". I honestly didn't even know if this was a joke being plaid on me. BMW Midtown does not charge their customers for the gas to find an issue, especially not a car covered under warranty. And that wasn't even the worst part, i bet your thinking "oh $15 bucks for gas ok whatever" yeah me too, the worst part was when they put 200 miles on my car for nothing to get fixed. They switched the spark plugs around and called it a day. That's it. The whole time my vehicle was there, a total of 12 days just so a spark plug can get switched around. (no they did not replace it with a new one they simply switched it with the other one that was on the other side). The whole time i was being told there were no techs to work on my vehicle, but when i picked up my car i had 200 extra miles and an empty gas tank. i dropped it off with gas, but picked it up with no gas. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, Please visit another GMC even if it means driving a little extra. There are no loaners at this place and the communication is horrible, the service is TOP TIER TRASH, and the service advisor i had (robert winston) is TERRIBLE.

Worst management staff I have ever had to deal with. Sales mgr Bubba quoted me a price for a truck without running a credit check and gave me some unimaginable down payment and high ass finance charge just to get rid of me and my wife! Bubba gump didn't give a damn about helping black people! Call back to make a formal complaint to Hime, the GM, and the complaint when in one ear and out the other.don't take your business to them. Not worth the drive.
