Staff was very friendly. I came in late after a long drive (and this was the first of my two stops along the way to Colorado) and asked if I could possibly have a late check out around 12ish. The guy said no problem and made sure to let me know he was in the room a few doors down if I needed anything. He did not have change however even tho they accept cash. (Handed him 80 for 75 total) So I paid with my card. Once I got to the room. I did notice quite a few stains on the furniture and one on the bedding. I just needed a place to eat, sleep and shower so that wasn't a huge concern. Toliet was a little dirty as well. Everything else was good tho. Had a comfy bed, microwave, little fridge and a good working TV but was not HD quality. Had plenty of towels and bar soaps/shampoo but only half a roll of toliet paper...good location in the center of a small town. DQ next door and a grocery store directly across the way. I do think 75 a night for this motel on a weekday is a little overpriced. It's more of a $50-$60 range motel. Overall the staff was friendly and tho they need to probably clean better and get new furniture, I would return if I just needed a quick place to crash for a night.

Joy and her daughter were extremely friendly to me and had no reservations about letting me check the room out before committing. They were both very proud of the cleanliness of the rooms and assured me that my stay would be pleasant. It was the best night's sleep I had on this trip.
The shower was nice and the A/C worked perfectly. There was a mini-fridge & microwave but no coffee maker. I like being able to park my bike right in front of my room.
This is just luck of the draw I imagine, but all the folks staying there were also very friendly. It really was a surprisingly pleasant stay.
Thank you so much for being there to help a tired traveler. Google classifies this as a 2 star motel and for a 2 star motel, it is definitely a 5 star rating. Thank you
Safety: Extremely well lit and clear views of all of the parking lot which I greatly appreciated.

The service at the Rotan Inn is kind , with ready to stay rooms that are very clean , and have the proper appliances to serve your needs as you stay at the Rotan Inn .
I myself have stayed there at the Rotan Inn and I have Always been given the opportunity to relax and enjoy my company with throughout my stay .

We were very impressed with how clean the rooms were. They smelled CLEAN not like they had sprayed some smelly stuff to try to cover up. Will defiantly stay again when we are close.

Upgraded’50’s style motel and the owner is very friendly. Nice amenities include a refrigerator and microwave and the bathroom upgrade is really nice. New owner trying to get his WiFi from AT&T and having a hard time but he’s trying. TV is good though so you get everything but breakfast and there’s a grocery across the street.

Very positive first impression from the gentleman at the front desk. Enjoyed the short conversation when you first meet.The room is clean and fresh. Everything is new when I checked into my room there wasn’t a microwave in it I asked the gentleman at the front desk and I went and got a brand new one and brought it to the roomI’m very happy with the location the cleanliness of the room the bed is very comfortable. Oh yeah and the pillows are great not like those cheap wore out pillows that you get from some places overall this place is 100% I would recommend it to all my co workers. It definitely was not what I was expecting this place way exceeded my expectationsGrocery store directly across the street a donut shop it opens early next door a dollar store around the corner hardware store down the street
