The Library@BigIron in Round Mountain, TX, is a hidden gem that offers a unique blend of family-friendly activities and a welcoming atmosphere. Located at 1905 Old Marble Falls Rd, this spot is perfect for families, especially with kids who love the interactive experience of feeding the pigs and horses carrots—a delightful activity that keeps the little ones entertained and engaged.
The library itself is well-stocked and cozy, making it an excellent place for reading or studying. But what truly sets this place apart is the vibrant community spirit. The live music events are fantastic, providing a great backdrop for family outings and fostering a sense of connection among visitors.
Additionally, the on-site bar offers amazing drinks, making it a perfect spot for adults to unwind while the kids enjoy their time with the animals. Overall, the Library@BigIron is not just a library; it's a wonderful destination for families looking to enjoy a day out filled with fun, learning, and entertainment. Highly recommended!

An unexpected find on the backroads of Blanco County. Gregg, Ren and several of the “regulars” greeted us like we were new friends. Friendly conversations, variety of spirits, wine and beer. Art, furniture and other treasures for sale. Books to buy, borrow or read while you’re there. Dogs, cats and Kunekune pigs are available for cuddling. An enjoyable place to spend an early evening. Thank you Gregg and Ren!

Super cute! Whiskey, bourbon, rye and wine. Dogs, pigs and peacocks. Also bought this great piece of art while we were there. If you’re in the area, check it out.

Unique space, friendly folks. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and cool music. We will definitely be back. Love the ranch feeling and the comfortable seating. The hosts are welcoming and its a great place to sit, enjoy, play pool, and even shop! Nothing like it in the Austin area.It makes you think that Willie would even pop in for a bourbon!

We had a great visit with Greg and Ren. What a nice surprise this place was. We enjoyed different bourbons and played a little pool. My friend bought a cowboy hat that had no price tag on it. Greg and Ren decided to make a challenge of it and each wrote their idea of a price on a napkin. They handed their napkins to my friend and she got to choose the lowest price. The place is adorable and comfortable. Cant wait to go back! We have two places in Round Mountain to visit now.

An amazing find! Greg and Ren are the most awesome hosts! Top shelf drinks at a very fair price. Bring your pickup because they have some treasures in their furniture selection.
