Great experience.
Would recommend to anyone in the area needing a good mechanic. Matt was extremely helpful and professional. Shop is well ran and has some very experienced mechanics. Would use again in the future or recommend as well.

Amazing experience!
I had to get the transmission on my F150 rebuilt, and the team at AAMCO—especially Matt—was fantastic. Matt was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. He clearly explained what needed to be done, how long it would take, and kept me updated every step of the way. They also worked directly with my warranty company, which made things so much easier. Overall, it was a seamless and stress-free repair. Huge thanks to Matt and the entire AAMCO team!

My transmission went out, not what you ever want to happen, but AAMCO made it as easy as possible to get it fixed. Extremely thorough in the diagnostics to see the full issue. Matt and his team were also very communicative from the diagnostics to the options for repair even keeping me updated on when parts arrived and when work began which was very helpful gauging how long to rent a car for. Quality work and very competitive on pricing. 10/10 would recommend and will return to them in the future.

I’ve brought all of my vehicles here since moving to around Rock a few years ago, and will absolutely continue to do so.

I had my transmission start slipping and first consulted with the dealer. It was going to cost me close to $8,000. I instead brought my car to AAMCO in Round Rock. They analyzed my transmission and it was in fact going out. Their free diagnosis exactly matched what I had been told by the dealer and what I had researched.
AAMCO’s estimate was far less than the dealer however it was still more than I had. I went to Matt and explained my situation. Matt was able to pull some strings and get the estimate lowered.
The transmission was then replaced. On the thorough final check they performed after installation, the transmission was working but not operating to their standards. It was determined the replacement transmission making a noise. It was determined that the replacement transmission was faulty. This was discovered by AAMCO and not left for me to discover later.
Had this happened elsewhere, I feel the problem would have been ignored and likely passed on to me in hopes that I would not notice.
Due to the integrity of Matt and AAMCO, the problem was not ignored and was immediately addressed.
I am truly thankful I chose to bring my car to AAMCO Round Rock.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I had brought in my car to get a transmission replace mat at the front desk was really helpful and understanding and helped me out. The job had cost close to 9 grand I was excited on getting my car back I would say the running and programming weren’t all there. Wouldn’t run as good as it use to. Transmission only lasted 2k miles they wouldn’t accept the warranty cause apparently car was modified but yet they agreed to work on it at first. So then I had a performance shop repair and re build it for me everything about that transmission was sketchy. All the gears and clutches were burned super bad and dark they couldn’t believe that transmission was brand new. So far this has costed me way more then it should have I would second think before dropping your car off here.

Ford dealership was going to get to me in 3 months. AAMCO got me in and out in 3 days with a new transmission.

For the first time in my life (and it has been loong) I had my 2017 Silverado inoperable, towed to Aamco Round Rock. The moment I walked in, the office, Matt treated me like a human being and not a number. All the way, through the experience of getting my truck transmission repaired, Matt and Ashleigh were there step by step. They BOTH fought tooth and nail; with the Extended warranty company to get my claim. for the repair, approved. They BOTH, kept the communication going, listened as well as met my truck needs for the repairs. Without them, I literally could have died of stress and frustration, as well as Sadness, had they not been so HONEST, KIND & UNDERSTANDING. These things are NOT TAUGHT, but are within us, from birth. I would do it all again just to get a fresh air of hard work, going that extra mile, honesty, communication & caring by Matt and Ashleigh at Aamco in Round. I pray the owner appreciates all the wonderful employees he has representing him. I know I do. I would DEFINITELY, recommend Aamco Round Rock, to anyone who needs Care Care with HONESTY. Believe me, that's very hard to find in a business and, in it's representatives, since I can remember. May God Bless Matt, Ashleigh, the hard-working mechanics & Aamco Owner there, for all they do to care for our Vehicles, because they are the DOCTORS for our Vehicles. They deserve just as much respect.

Great honest people that keep you updated and are easy to relate to and understand. My car started making a very occasional stutter when I pushed the gas. They weren’t able to recreate it the first time because it is so infrequent so they offered to have another tech try again the next day. I super appreciate them taking their time and being so thorough. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who might have transmission issues. Thanks to Matt who explained things in detail.

Fantastic service and amazing turn around! Matt told me I'd get my truck back in less than a week and the tech Brian made it happen. Much faster than the dealer and hands down better customer service!
