I went into the store with one of my friends and we were browsing the jeans throughout the store around 3:30pm. We noticed that there was an extra sale on the clearance jeans in the back and found a few pairs we each liked. One pair that my friend had picked up had no tags at all, no barcode tag or waist tag. We looked around for a similar pair to compare them to but we could not find one. We found an employee coming out of the backroom and asked if there was a way to ring them up since there were no tags, she snatched the jeans out of my friends hands and told her that they weren't on clearance and they shouldn't have been back there at all and then walked off with the jeans...we were a little dumbfounded by that interaction, as the question was not how much the pants were but rather how we could purchase them, it didn't matter if they were on sale or not. We ended up putting the rest of our items back and leaving after that, we just didn't appreciate being treated like we couldn't afford to shop there because we were looking at the clearance jeans.

Yesterday I went to the store and bought some jeans, my husband paid since I had to use the restroom. One pair was $59.95 and the other one was on sale for $34.99, but instead for some reason they charged him full price for both of them, and he asked if they needed a phone number (I’m a rewards member) and they said no, so I didn’t receive any rewards from that purchase. We didn’t notice until we got home.

I was acknowledged when I walked in the door. Asked if I needed help by Chelsea, she assisted me while tried on pants. She didn’t try to upsell me on jeans (which I appreciated). She helped me find the best fit, I was in and out quickly with no frustration, it was a great experience.Thank you!

If you are ordering online for pickup, don’t count on the “ready in 2 hours” window. I placed an order for pickup at 9:28am. I knew the store didn’t open until 10a, so I was expecting my order to be ready around noon. I called the store at 4pm because I hadn’t gotten an email saying my order was ready - but no one answered. I waited another hour and a half and finally went to the store at 5:30 hoping my order would be there. Nope. Instead the manager told me they’ve been busy all day and didn’t have time to fulfill my order. What’s the point of having the option to order online for pick up if you can’t fulfill it within the promised timeframe? I waited another 20 minutes for them to take the items off the shelf so I could finally receive my order. I waited over 8 hours after they promised a 2 hour window. It was ridiculous and they employees were not very hospitable.

Came in to try and find some pants that would fit my world shattering thighs and the employees (Especially J and Evin? Evan? She looks like Zendaya) went above and beyond to help me find something that fit! I'll def be coming back here in the future.

I totally understand that AEO has removed shopping totes (while shopping in the store) Due to pandemic but it’s getting difficult to shop these days. More and more people started coming into stores and people like me are finding it difficult to carry all the clothes around the store in bare hands. It would be nice to have the shopping totes back.

I wish that I could click 0. I'm from out of town, and utterly disappointed in the service I received tonight at this American Eagle. No one greeted me or even asked me anything. First every single employee I saw was on their phone huddled up, I clicked the button and waited 10 minutes before I could try on jeans, and then when I was trying on jeans the a group of "women" employees came back to the dressing room area trying to decide 1. What that smell was and 2 who was gojng in the dressing room. They kept talking about this odor and even brought back the perfume. It seemed very clear they were talking about 1 of the 3 people in the dressing room. One girl even said, "I can't even stand the smell of this girl." "It smells like fish go get the perfume so we can spray her area" They were right out side her door and Continuing making fun of this customer. Even if someone doesn't smell the best. Be a good person and ignore it or wait till everyone has left. I wish I could have gotten names of these girl employees this is unacceptable. Do better American Eagle.
