Avis on Louis Henna in Round Rock were awesome!!!!! Great prices and they couldn't have been nicer! Very efficient service picking up and dropping off. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!!

I will never stop complaining about the poor condition of the cars rented out by this Avis location until the problem is fixed. Cars are regularly rented out in deplorable condition including dirty interiors, trash left in cars, horrible smells, dirty exteriors, mechanical and cosmetic damage, etc. This location regularly rents out cars that have not been cleaned since their last rental. The horrible customer service only adds insult to injury. Go anywhere else if you can.

Avoid Renting Electric Vehicles from Avis!
I strongly advise against renting electric vehicles through Avis. The website advertised a Tesla Model 3 or similar, but I was given a Kia Niro EV instead, which is not comparable in any meaningful way. Unfortunately, this car nearly put me in danger multiple times during a short weekend trip.
First, the vehicle did not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto unless a USB Type-A to Type-C cable was used. This outdated cable is difficult to find. I checked multiple gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores, but none carried it. When connected via Bluetooth, the vehicle’s system only played partial voice navigation. For example, instead of “Turn right on Main Street,” it only said “Main Street.” As someone driving alone without a phone mount, this created an unsafe situation. I had no choice but to use the car’s built-in navigation system, which was not only unreliable but often directed me to charging stations that didn’t exist.
The battery performance was also a serious issue. I picked up the vehicle in Round Rock with a 75% charge and an estimated range of 190 miles. However, I ran out of battery before even reaching Houston, a drive of approximately 150 miles. I stopped at a gas station with a charger. While the charging started off quickly, it took over an hour just to go from 60% to 85%. This caused unnecessary delays and added stress to my trip.
Throughout the drive, I was constantly worried about the battery level. I left Houston at 4 p.m. on Sunday to ensure I could return safely, but I still encountered major issues. The navigation system sent me to charging stations that either didn’t exist, were out of order, had incompatible plugs, or were slow chargers. I had to stop at eight different charging stations just to keep the vehicle running, and I didn’t get home until 2 a.m. on Monday. It took me at most 3 hours with a gasoline car.
Being stranded in unfamiliar and isolated areas late at night while trying to recharge was extremely stressful. As a woman working abroad alone, I felt vulnerable and unsafe. This rental placed my personal safety at serious risk.
To make matters worse, when I returned the car, the Avis staff showed no concern at all. They told me it was not their responsibility and that I should have gone to the airport to exchange the car. This level of disregard was incredibly disappointing.
This was, without question, the worst rental experience I’ve ever had.

I sometimes rent vehicles from this location for work travel. Sam is always friendly and helpful. I never have to wait for my reservation. Pick up and drop off has always been a good experience

Avoid this location at all costs!
This place is an absolute dump. They tried to give me an old, scratched up , creaky minivan with 60k miles on it. When I asked for something different the neck- tattooed guy at the counter got aggressive with me.
