The staff here is wonderful. My dog was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and everyone here has been so kind and caring. I really appreciate them so much!

Still did not get to see the vet with my dog all she talked about was expensive test that was not covered by Banfield.

It gets the job done. Someone described it as the Walmart of vets. The staff feels new, including the vet who wouldn’t even touch my very sedated dog. Go here if you have to, and get a wellness plan so things are covered.

I was 30 mins late to the appointment, near closing time no less, with a tiny little stray dog I had found. The staff and Dr. Helcel were all SO nice and were able to make time for us. I was very impressed by their efficiency, advice, and overall warmth. I had to leave them this 5-star review. Thanks so much!

This place is an amazing, the staff is very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Dr. Helcel performed surgery on my dog a month ago, her recovery has been great. I’m just grateful for a very amazing team like this one.

Honestly nobody has ever been outright rude but this location really does struggle. Even before the tornado and damages I would never describe this place as top notch. The techs and vet are considerate and kind enough but I feel like there's severe neglect on their process and how things are run. The software for the invoices takes ridiculously long to print and they always give us different information.I've had many instances with small issues. Not calling when our pup is ready, calling us when the pup is ready but when we get there she is obv not ready-- as in she hasn't even been seen so we should've never gotten a call to begin with. Usually small things isn't enough for me not to come back but it's gotten to a point where I'm just over it.It's not one specific thing but an accumulation of things at the this location that makes me not want to return. Would not recommend

DO NOT USE BANFIELDS. I have had them for 9 years and over the last two years has been on going issues. Today was now the second time bringing my dog in to get her teeth cleaned just to come find out AGAIN something negative came back with her blood work. The first time they had negative blood work and then did the testing it turns out they were actually ok. I paid the $170 for the bloodwork as stated since this is a duel package for test and cleaning. Now this second time they had different results of negative testing come back. AGAIN asking for money for not being able to fulfill the dental cleaning due to "different" results coming back negative. After reading multiple reviews I've seen the same scenario and this all looks like a scam. After giving us the update of the bloodwork she stated that it would be another 6 hours for me to be able to pick her up as they needed to wait to get approval from their leadership on excusing the payment since it's basically included with the dental work. I said I'm not doing the dental work and the plan expires for this year in two weeks anyways. Why couldn't they excuse the payment as I'm already losing out on the dental work I've been paying for all year long. This lady with purple hair brought us back into the room once we arrived to pick up the dog and acted all tough and trying to be stern. Stating she explained this over the phone the day prior of extra cost that could occur but of course they could occur when they so this to a lot of people and charge them a bunch of money and then their monthly fees keep going up too. Must be struggling from what it seems. To say I am beyond displeased with the customer service and how they think they can demand or talk to me as a PAYING CUSTOMER of 9 years is disgusting. I told her we were not going to pay any services until we talk to corporate and she basically said she didn't care and she would send me to collections right then and there for not paying today. Although they could bill it to my account until I get this squared away I get basically threatened to get sent to collections. There is a lot more I could say but I will save my energy. This hospital is trash and banfields has gone down the drain. There are better ways to handle and communicate with paying customers. Banfields goes through doctors and staff like every month. Don't give your money to these people and look else where.

I'd give zero stars if I could. This is the worst Banfield I've been to around Austin. The communication is so broken between vets and receptionists. I've attempted to have my dog's teeth cleaned and nails trimmed since May. I scheduled an appointment, waited 4 weeks to take my dog to an appointment just to be told the 1st time there was an emergency being handled and they'd have to reschedule you another month out, during their next available slot. The 2nd time, the receptionist forgot to tell us our dog needed an anxiety medication prior to her surgery (under anesthesia) when we scheduled, AND when we got the confirmation call, we had to reschedule another month out. The 3rd reschedule is because the doctor who is comfortable doing the surgery isn't actually in on the day they scheduled us. We are 40 mins away. It's extremely frustrating to be canceled when you finally get your dog in. Additionally, all the dogs at this vet clinic are usually frantic pre treatment... wondering if that's indicative of the staffs treatment towards them. They could have at least trimmed her nails during 1 of our visits the past 3 months, but no. Needless to say, I will be searching for a new vet.

Do not take your pets here. I took my dog In For allergies they pushed 300$ of a allergy vaccines as well as a plethora of other test while never performing an actual allergy test that I could buy off Amazon for 100$. I will be canceling the pet plan I signed up for today. Completely unacceptable I wouldn’t recommend them to a stranger let alone my friends and family.

Absolute crooks and insensitive "veterinary care providers."Completely misdiagnosed my dog, causing us precious time pursuing a treatment that was unnecessary (and expensive) to begin with.Take your pets here if you enjoy allowing your animal to continue to suffer while paying a small fortune. Otherwise, find another provider

I've been purchasing my dog food from the Pet Smart that this Banfield is in for years. I've always been told that if I have my Banfield prescription, that it is good for life. I go in today to buy food from my dogs, and need my prescriptions updated. I get told that they need the actual prescriptions now and they explain why. Which I do understand, but it's been years since I've had to have an actual prescription because of their old policy that of course I do not have them today. So I'm kind of freaking out because my dogs need this food and I don't know where else to go. They offered to call my vet to get this for me, but when I said okay, the receptionist scoffed at me and her supervisor had to tell her to do it. After she gets off the phone, she tells me that they had not seen me in the last year so they could not authorize it. I'm shocked. Because I knew that was not the case. So I'm telling the receptionist that this is the first I'm hearing of this, I'm not prepared, and is there anything that can be done. Her supervisor immediately got off the phone to assist me with picking out my food and taking it to the cashier for a one time approval. She's the saving grace of this whole thing. But I don't think I will be returning. When I got home, I checked my records, and indeed it had been less than a year since seeing my vet. Some people just want to say no to see others squirm. Or maybe it's laziness. Either way, terrible customer service.

when my furbaby passed in march of this year I was hurt. Banfield employees sent a card a month later. I felt like they cared. I opened the card and it was for someone elses baby. I cried all over again. I called them to let them know how hurt I, and another family were hurt by this and NOONE has called to make it right. My feelings are hurt bad
