I've been using CPL for some time at several locations in the Austin metro area. I don't know many people that look forward to getting labs done, but I can say this is by far the best experience I've had. They moved to a larger suite within Forrest Creek Medical Center which appears to allow them to serve more patients at once, cutting down the wait time significantly. There's probably double the seating than their previous space. I walked in about 10:30am on a Friday, signed in, and was called to the window in less than 5 minutes. Check-in was a breeze, they obtained new copies of insurance, confirmed my info, and had me take a seat. So far, I'm more than pleased with my experience, but it gets better. Not two minutes later, Halee called me back. She impressed the hell out of me. Halee resonated good vibes which ya know on a Friday morning just starts the day off in a good place. But the real kicker is my veins roll like crazy sometimes and I've had several experiences where I've had to be stuck by several different phlebotomists until they strike gold. She came in like consummate professional (or boss if you'd rather) and stuck me on her first attempt like she could have done it in her sleep. Halee effortlessly got through my entire panel without blowing out my vein, and had me on my way in about 5 minutes flat. Long story short, ask for Halee and be kind to these folks, it's not their fault when your orders aren't in their system. Don't shoot the messenger.

What a pleasant experience I had getting bloodwork done here. I didn’t have an appointment and was in and out in a little over 30 minutes. My phlebotomist was incredible. I am someone who faints pretty easily from blood draws, but not this time! She was so quick and made the experience essentially painless. My husband said she took more than one vial and I didn’t even know! Highly recommend coming here for lab work.

The lady that drew my daughter's blood today, had most sour demeanor I have ever encountered at this location. She acted like she didn't want to be at work today.

My issue with CPL is the billing. They need to modernize thier billing practices so I can pay at the location at the time of service rather than using snail mail to send me a bill then send me to collections when I dont pay as soon as I get the letter. They will spend $6000 dollars to recover $40 bucks through collections. I try to eliminate using paper mail, impossible with CPL's antique way of billing.

The staff are very friendly. Quick lab work done, new locations are big and clean. Everything looks good.

I am normally a hard stick but the lady got it on the first try. She was wonderful and it was one of the most comfortable lab experiences I have had. Will be using this location more often

Got there by 7am, small line only 15 people ahead of me & that went fast. Easy & painless blood draw. Highly recommend

The front desk nurses here are on top of their game. They communicate within each other if questions come up and all help to solve patients questions and needs. It can be difficult to get a recent appointment her, but you can line up to be on a waiting list for when they have time in between scheduled appointments . They have recently changed their hours from 7am to 7:30am to officially open. I arrived a little before 7 to wait in line when I needed labs and there was about 9 people in front of me. You then enter your information on an iPad station and wait for your name to be called. I ended up getting my blood drawn at 8:10 and was out of there a few minutes later. The seating area is pretty large inside the waiting room and very clean. There is a bathroom and water bubblers just down the hall available to you.

I have had my lab tests done here for years.The ladies who draw blood are fantastic!! Wonderful at their jobs. If I could give them five stars separately, I sure would!However, at this location expect very long wait times all the time. I am not exaggerating. Every time I go, no matter what day or time, there are at least 15 people in the waiting room. They are very very understaffed.

Third time there. Twice they "didn't receive any orders", despite the fact that physician's office had the fax receipt. Once I actually was able to get labs done. And guess what, they missed the most important one. Their manager's only answer "can you come by today or tomorrow" - neither, because I'm not going back.One thing they're VERY good at, ripping your insurance card out of your hands

When I need blood work done I always go to Forest Creek, and I always request Shantal Bynum. She certainly is very good at what she does. she is very personable and I never feel the needle going in. The wait wasn't that long either. Everyone there are very friendLy.

Very clean office, friendly staff, and in and out in less than 15 minutes. Kim, at front desk is very pleasant and efficient. We have been coming here for years and she is the best.

Been there twice for lab work , both visits we're pleasant with very nice nurses!!! As busy as they are the staff works well to make you feel valued .

I was in and out in less than 35 min. They were also kind enough to help me figure out my lab orders. A bonus was the nurse being awesome. I’ve had some rough blood draws but she was a one stick and done nurse. Couldn’t have been any easier-thank you!
