Customer Service has trumpeted being convenient, plus hanging up on customers when in the middle of a calm conversation is not cool. So... the issues is they consistently do not read prescriptions fully - routinely marking no refills when there are clearly refills. I have had to do the leg work to obtain the originally prescription to prove that there were refills still available. No apology or explanation why. Whoever is transcribing the prescriptions clearly is not detailed oriented or care the extra work and headache that this causes Too many times this has happened - changing pharmacies.

I dont recommend the pharmacy.They have horrible hours. They don't open until 10am and close for lunch.The staff that I spoke to are complacent. Also, they do not contact you when your prescription is ready. They don't offer the extra service HEB offers.I love HEB Pharmacy. However, Aetna has a contract with CVS. CVS can give me a 90 day supply but HEB can not due to Aetna. ( BIG PHARMA? but that's another subject)HEB on Whitestone is an amazing pharmacy with great customer care. I recommend it if you don't need a 90 day supply.

Dont usually right reviews but felt needed. If there was a closer pharmacy, i would go there. Contemplating driving further to get better service. Have had many issues with not answering phones. Staff is friendly but I dont know if its a computer problem (one i didnt have at my old cvs) or a lazy staff problem. Many times my Rx are scheduled to be filled a certain day and are never filled, and when i go on the app to schedule it again, it says its on hold. I called for several different Rx and they said they didnt know why it was on hold and could fill it today. Its very inconvenient to have to call and go wait for someone to answer to fill an rx that was suppose to be filled already and then i get it late. One thing that really upset me, i got text that a prescription had till a the end of friday to be picked up, or it would be put back, I got that text at 7pm Thursday, so drove up there and they had already put it back and asked if i would wait for them to fill. I said no and left. Also dont like that they get an Rx and will sit on it all day before filling it. My old cvs pharmacy always communicated so well, letting me know issues that came up or letting me Know what was going on. Really thinking of driving farther, just to get better service.

Employees are friendly. But the place is seriously under staffed. Long waits for medicine and sometimes you must drive to a other location for your prescription

Today we have very bad experience here we are here for 10.00am appointment for covid testing and they mad us waiting till 10.55 no giving good response even they are three representatives and we are not happy with service honestly

The pharmacist here thinks she's smarter than your doctor and will deny your prescription because she "doesn't feel comfortable." Well done CVS.

Pharmacy is almost always understaffed. Had an appointment for my kid to get a flu shot and with an appointment, I waited over an hour. This is after being told the previous day that they don’t have enough shots that day and need to move the appointment until they pick up more doses from another pharmacy. Good location if they had enough people working the pharmacy.

This CVS pharmacy is in dire need of competent employees - including the pharmacist. I have gone several times and every time there is a problem with filling the prescription correctly or dealing with snappy communication from the pharmacist. This final episode I'm sharing happened Just a couple days ago when I went to pick up my prescription. It was a total headache being told to wait at the drive up window while they looked forever for the script. Then they told me I needed to wait 45 minutes while they filled it. I went back an hour later in a long line of cars only to be told I needed to come into the store and speak with the pharmacist. They're totally understaffed as I waited for close to another hour as the only 2 young assistants were trying to keep up with the customers. The pharmacist wasn't happy nor was she helpful. In fact, she wouldn't talk to me let alone look at me. She was snapping at the young assistant what she wanted him to tell me. I understand theres a lot of pressure with the traffic but she was not dealing well at all with customer service. The ultimate turnoff? Today I realized she only half refilled my prescription. I only have enough for 2 weeks - not 4. I am dreading going back to get it filled correctly. I like the store but I am set on never using the pharmacy again. After all the negative reviews here on yelp along with hearing complaints from acquaintances I am really surprised CVS has not looked into correcting this aggravating problem.
