One of the most frustrating hair experiences of my life! Carmen seems to be a pleasant and friendly person, but sadly, a horrific business owner and stylist. Like many other reviews, scheduling was an issue, and it seems to have been one for years?! She canceled our original appointment due to a "family situation". Didn't contact me to reschedule so I texted her. Settled on a new appointment time and about 15 minutes before this new one, she texted that she was running behind and would be there in 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was already there. I ran some errands, and upon returning saw another car waiting outside the salon. We both went in, Carmen didn't recall that I was full color in addition to haircut etc. The other client was the same (we both had purchased the Groupon). She told us she could still do it, but we both would be sitting and waiting a lot†She was talking so fast, trying to get us both done, I didn't understand half of what she said. We discussed full color to cover my grays throughout and my roots. She only did my roots. At that point, I just needed things to be moving along, so didn't say anything. Asked her to cut off about 3-4". About 8" are gone. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!

I found this place via a living social deal for a cut and highlights. I called to schedule an appointment no answer but she called me back later that day. I was able to schedule an appointment right away. Carmen was great. She was personable. She listened to my concerns. Before starting we looked at pictures of what we wanted to achieve together. She educated and gave me realistic expectations. Throughout the process she kept asking for my feedback. Overall a successful visit! I will return! Update: I recommended Carmen to 3 family/friends. I had such a great experience I was hoping they would too. Unfortunately they didn't.. neither one of them did. All separate visits resulted in 3 unprofessional encounters. This puts me in an awkward situation for having recommended her so highly. How is it that she was very kind and professional with some and not others? I removed 1 star because I DID have a great experience, however apparently this is all dependent on what mood she is in I guess. So, buyer beware: she may be awesome or horrible. Good luck!

They don't answer phone, emails, voicemails, and well pretty much anything. Got a good deal from them on Groupon but they won't even reply to anything so my advice is try calling them before you buy any deals.

WOW! I'm appalled by this experience. I bought a Groupon & made an appointment. The lady told me I HAD to arrive at 4:15 for highlights. I took off work early & sat in the parking lot for 45 min & the door was locked & no one was there. I left two voicemails. Still no call back. I called Groupon & they gave me a refund. Don't even waste your time! What a disappointment...I was looking for a long term stylist. :(

Amazing all around! Carmen is very professional! The salon is very clean & neat. I don't really write reviews but I highly recommend coming here! I truly loved my quick cut. I am now ready for my brothers wedding this weekend!

I waited 40 minutes outside the shop. No one showed. I got a refund on my Groupon from my phone and left.

Bought a Groupon. Waited in the heat for 40 minutes. Hours of operation on the door are FALSE. Tried calling. No answer. Called Groupon right there, got a refund, and left. Dont wasted your time.

Carmen is a great stylist. She educated me about the cut I wanted and did a great job with that and my full color. She also my daughters very long curly hair and it looks marvelous. I will be going back. Her prices for services and products are reasonable, the atmosphere is minimalist but clean and comfortable.

My dad had a 60 minutes swedish massage this week with a certificate I gave him for his bday and he advised he loved it. The therapist did a great job and removed all the not he had. He will recommend it definitely

Carmen did a great job on my hair. Best cut and high lights/ low lights I have had. Very easy to talk with about what I wanted and was trying to achieve and came out perfectly. Also great to chat with while getting the service. Scheduling was a bit rough but the end result was well worth it. I will be back.

DO NOT GO HERE! I purchased a Groupon as a gift for my mom. It was for a hair cut, color, an style. I made an appointment for my mom two weeks in advance for 03/18/17 at 9:30 am. On Saturday (03/18/17) my mom showed up for her appointment at 9:15 am, but the doors were locked (even though the business hours say 9 am to 7 pm on Saturday). Understanding that things happen, my mom waits at the salon. At 9:34 am Carmen calls my mom, and advises her she's running late but would be there in 15 minutes. Well, fast forwards to 10 o'clock, and still no one has shown up. My mom calls Carmen back on her cell phone, but she doesn't get an answer. At this point, I try calling Carmen thinking maybe she's ignoring my moms number (since she knows she's very late). However, after 3 calls Carmen does not answer so I leave a voice mail (which no call was ever returned to my mother or I). Finally, an hour after her appointment, at 10:30 am my mom decides to leave accepting the fact that Carmen stood her up. At 10:35 am Carmen TEXT (doesn't even give the courtesy or professionalism of a phone call) saying that she's 3 minutes away. My mom advised her that she had left, and Carmen offered to "squeeze" her in later that same day. At this point my mom thanked Carmen, but declined. We started seeking a refund from Groupon. However, since Carmen offered to re-schedule Groupon is denying our refund (even though others have been refunded). We tried all weekend (since Saturday afternoon) to re-schedule an appointment, since Groupon wouldn't refund us (and we didn't want to lose out on the money we already spent). Carmen ignored our phone calls, but we were finally able to talk to her today. Carmen DENIED providing the service we paid for, and told us Groupon WOULD refund us. When we told her Groupon refused to issue a refund, she told us that Groupon has issued MANY refunds for her salon (which obviously tells you ALOT of people have issues with her). Right now we're still fighting to get a refund from Groupon, but i wanted to let everyone know DO NOT GO HERE! IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY, AND TIME. NOT TO MENTION HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL CARMEN IS!! (and it seems she's the owner/only person who works there).

The worst Salon ever. Carmen charge me $80 for a haircut. But didn't tell me the price till after she cut my hair. Going to call cosmetology Commission, BBB, and filed a report against her. She should not be in the field of Cosmetology. She took 45 minutes to cut my hair. Andover cut it , making it too short.

Carmen did not show up for my appointment saying that I had not confirmed the appointment. I spoke with her myself less than 24 hours prior to the appointment. She offered no apology.
