The pharmacy here needs a serious upgrade . Angie need better customer service and they need to be way better at greeting people and not just standing around while a whole line of people is waiting . Will be switching back to Walgreens for my prescriptions immediately. This isn’t the first time this pharmacy has been so horrible

When I called to check the status of a prescription, I was rudely hung up on. When I went inside I realized they were very busy, still no excuse. But when Van Gowan saw the prescription, he realized they had a stronger and much cheaper version that he was able to dispense instead, so he's the Rockstar in this story. Tech staff could use some work on their patience and manners though.

I’ve used this H-E-B pharmacy for years, but my last drive-thru experience was awful. In the time it took one car (and me) to sit at the far window, five cars went through the other side. We only had a simple pick-up that usually takes 3–5 minutes, yet we waited over 20 minutes. When I asked why this line was slower, the employee refused to help and snapped: “We’re busy, you need to wait!” As she proceeded to help two other cars.
If you’re not going to use both windows, close one so customers aren’t left wasting time. Really disappointing service from a pharmacy I depend on monthly.

I’d say more like 3.5, as they’re quite knowledgeable about insurance…far more than nearby Walgreens.
But they did claim a couple of Rx were not covered on my Part D, which I soon discovered from the carrier ARE covered (refund pending).
I asked multiple times for all of my medications to be taken off of auto refill (update: this eventually FINALLY resolved), but they remain on even when I did the job myself in the app. I just can’t get these meds off auto refill and I’ve tried so hard.
I just keep asking. I know these folks are very busy and I get that. But frustrating.
The place is so convenient to home with good hours. And they pretty polite and professional; a little dismissive when there are ins issues.
They may not be the only pharmacy that does this: when they send you a text that your medication is ready, they don’t say which one!!! (HIPPA?) I have over 10 to manage.
UPDATE: I had to move to another pharmacy due to insurance; they all have issues! :) Customers can make it all a bit easier with patience.

Yesterday I went to the pharmacy to buy some intramuscular medicine and they didn’t give me the injection, Today I went to get the injections, and the technician wouldn't give them to me, telling me I had to wait for the next refill. I stood there waiting until she told me she wanted another one, and I had to insist until they gave them to me. The technician asked me what size I wanted, and I told her to read the prescription, and then she knew what size syringe she should give me. Anyway, it was a dilemma, and in the end, all the employees there laughed. I truly felt like I was being mocked because my English isn't that good, but I'm sure they understood me. It was disrespectful. I'm also a customer, I pay health insurance, and maybe even have more taxes than they do. Seeing the other comments, it seems the staff is laughing in your face. How disrespectful.

The HEB Pharmacy has great service and prices. The drive thru had two lanes which helps. I highly recommend paying online via their webpage or app. The prepay saves a lot of time. They also deliver medications now for a few which can be really worth it in a pinch.

If you’re just picking up, it’s fine. But if you have to ask the pharmacist or ask the person there for any help with your meds DONT DO IT.
If it’s your first time with a prescription have it sent anywhere else. The pharmacist here will laugh at your question and dismiss whatever you said. (My question was asking if these meds took a while, like 30+ days to kick in - given that I’ve been on SSRI’s that’s how those work, so I was speculating maybe these other meds had a similar way of working).
I’ve never written a review while still in a place, I usually get home and write a positive review. But for whoever was there at 4:05pm May 8th helping customers with prescription questions, they will just laugh at your question instead of helping.
(It was NOT Van, it was another pharmacist.)

I came to pick up my children’s medicine at the drive thru and the person at the window said it will be a few minutes and asked if I can come in or drive around and get back in line. I said sure. I parked and went inside. I get to the window and. They tell me we are closed. Why would you tell me to come in or drive to the end of the line if you are about to close. Now my children are without their meds. To top it off, I didn’t notice she was closing the drive thru as I was pulling off. Like who does that? Customer service has gone to crap!!!!!

Came here to get my medications prescribed by my dentist. I asked the pharmacist if she could explain a little bit to me about the meds and when i need to start taking them. She looked at me like i was stupid, with a smirk on her face and replied “you don’t know how to take the pills?” I can call a counsel for you. I felt so disrespected and i already had the medication in my hands so i drove off. WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS WITH THE YELLOW BLEACHED HAIR, DO BETTER.
