I LOVE MY HEB!!!!! I woke up this morning needing eggs (and a bundt pan, and a #6 candle) to bake a birthday cake for my son so I decide to order the items via curbside. I order everything for an 11:30 am pickup, but sometime between me ordering the supplies and 11:15 am I decide I just don't feel like baking a cake. I called and asked them to add cupcakes, any cupcakes, to my order because I just didn't feel like baking. The lady on the phone said that she hoped she wasn't getting too personal but asked were the cupcakes for a boy or girl and if I cared if they were chocolate or vanilla cupcakes. I told her a boy and left it up to her judgement on what to get him and it didn't need to be anything special because he's just going to lick the icing off, lol. We get to the store and 2 team members come out to the car to deliver my cake supplies, a birthday card, a balloon, and the cutest cupcakes EVER!! They absolutely didn't have to go the extra mile.. But they did. They wished my son a happy birthday and we were both soo excited!!! THIS is why I shop at HEB!! I love my Forest Commons HEB!!!

On 23 July 2021 I purchased a beer. When the lady asked for my ID I have it to her because of policy which I understand. The guy behind me bought products which also requires and ID he was never asked. When I asked the woman and the man at the register why I was carded and not the other man no answer was given. I am black he is white ok got it!

It's always nice when the manager looks at the line closes his lane and the leaves, good forbid you help the customers before you leave. I really wish I would have caught the managers name, but he was gone pretty quick. Quaility manager here, good hire HEB.
