Imagine watching a child go from being a happy, smiling, and energetic child to being completely terrified to set foot anywhere near the school. It’s a terrible feeling watch a child emotionally fall apart due to dishonesty and mistreatment at the school. Children are too precious to get this kind of treatment.

If you want your child to feel safe, confident, and comfortable, this isn’t the place to send them

My son has been here since Late infant. We like the facilities and the staff. Most teachers have been here for several years. They are caring and adorable. Would highly recommend ?

I called and left a voicemail and they called me back over a week later. I was kind of surprised because I was interested in getting my son into pre K. When they called me back I was kind of shocked at the price for a pre k. Besides a lot of school districts offer a PreK program for free. Anyway, I decided that my son is better off at home.

Rudest people work here that I’ve ever seen. Was trying to back out of their parking spot while an event was going on next door. They didn’t want anyone parking in their lot and I didn’t intend to since they have tiny spots and I have a large vehicle. Some lady comes running out and accuses me of hitting their vehicle and rudely telling me I can’t park there. She didn’t even know why I was there, for all she knew I was coming in to try and sign my kid up for daycare. Then as I was navigating out of their parking lot another employee is backing out of a spot. I stop to allow her room to back and pull out to which she responds by shaking her head and rolling her eyes at me and snapping “you can’t park here, I’m an employee” no kidding, I’m not trying to park in your tiny spots where someone gonna fling their door open and hit my vehicle.Makes me wonder how they treat the kids under their care. A little kindness goes a long way. A lesson these people haven’t leanered apparently.

TERRIBLE customer service and not at all professional — would highly not recommend. They cannot care for or keep track of sensitive information and we would definitely not trust them with our 8-month-old. Red Flag 1) They only give you the option to physically write down your bank account information, which is ancient practice and completely unsecure 2) They lost the form containing our bank account information and assured me it’s not “lost” and is somewhere in their office 3) Accused me of not actually turning in our application (I guess I completely imagined our tour with Catherine, talking several times over the phone, and literally handing our paperwork to Maliza). But rest assured, our information is not lost and as soon as they find what’s not lost, we’ll be put on the waiting list that we were told we were already on months ago. Thank you for making our childcare needs an easier decision and ruling out Hatch House for ourselves and hopefully many other neighbors reading this review.

The entire staff here really loves, and cares about children, and it's obvious. I have two children enrolled here, a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Both of them are far advanced in all cognitive and learning skills. Best part is they love to go to school, and I don't have a single worry or concern leaving them. So many great features to make the parent feel involved from work.

Had all three of our kids attend for half a year. During our initial conversation director Cynthia promised us a 5% sibling discount on the oldest kid's tuition, she also personally confirmed it in writing, and applied it to the first month's bill. Half a year later, we discovered that the first month was the only one with the discount applied. When confronted, director Cynthia refused to honor her commitments. Definitely one of the more egregious instances of bait-and-switch we've encountered.

Our child spent 3 yrs in this school. From the staff, teachers to the school condition this is a fabulous school. Most importantly, they were extremely caring of our child and treated as their own. Just absolutely amazing. God bless these folks!

Hatch House Sendero is the best. Everyone there is so nice. Ms Cynthia was and always a huge help. My son attended the after school care, he loved it and so did I. If your looking for a daycare looking no further you won’t regret it.

My son has attended Hatch House from 2 to 5.5 which encompasses a LOT of important development stages from potty training to Pre-K. I could not be more thrilled w/my experience. The main reason? The children are treated as individuals. It’s brutally obvious they aren’t just another number, and they aren’t just a payday. Because of that, he has THRIVED.It all starts w/the Director, Cynthia. Cynthia is an absolute God send. Her knowledge of children has helped calm fears and given me piece of mind, and her requirement of her employees to live up to her standards allows me to know that my son is always in great hands regardless of the room or circumstances. With such strong leadership the culture, drive and expectations are second to none. One of the things that I love most about her is that when you talk to her she gets it. When you tell her something incredulous she looks incredulous. When you tell her something shocking she looks shocked. You can teach a lot, but the ability to know and understand what someone is saying and why, particularly when it comes to something as special as a child is IMPOSSIBLE to teach. I never have to explain why I am bothered or happy about something. She just gets it. With her at the helm this is a place that will never cut corners, lower their standards, or take your child’s care or individuality lightly.Next are the teachers. The school my son was in before was a nightmare. The teachers were distracted, and the rooms were CHAOS. I still remember the first time I dropped my child off at Hatch House. It was in incredible order. The 2 year old teacher (Ms. Marci) was changing a child and I SWEAR she has eyes everywhere! She was addressing children that I have no idea how she could even see, and was directing the assist. teacher on what to do w/o missing a beat. I never once dropped in or arrived for pick up to chaos. That’s incredible w/a group of 2 year old. Amanda was the most patient and best 3 year old teacher I have ever seen. My son was a bit advanced for his age and was moved into her class before he was potty trained even though she didn’t normally deal w/diapered children. She not only took him in but was willing to try all sorts of potty training methods to help us potty train him. Some resulting in amazing failure. Through it all there was never a neg. word, a single complaint, or look of disdain. She loved him, saw it was the right class for him, and she was going to do anything she could to help him succeed. Some of Pre-K was a challenge. Not with the school but because my son was at that age, and is just that kind of kid where he wants to do what he wants to do when he wants to do it. This is where you see how good a school really is. What do they do when it isn’t easy? When your child doesn’t behave? When the days become more of a struggle because your child is acting a fool? With the support of Cynthia, his teachers, and work by my son he still thrived. He can write, add, subtract, knows all his shapes, colors, numbers, counting by 5’s, 10’s, months, days, weeks and on and on. We always felt well loved, well taken care of, and 100% supported. Whether my son was being an angel or a terror.Currently my son is in after school program. I couldn’t love the teacher, Jessica, more. I was worried about him falling behind for Kindergarten so she sits with him every single day to work on age appropriate worksheets. And when he came home one day and asked if he could go back to Pre-K because he was tired, both Jessica and Cynthia figured out how to let him take a nap if needed. And Jessica is phenomenal with the kids. He has gone from struggling to behave to being one of the best in class. It has allowed me to believe that even my strong willed, slightly crazy, stubborn as heck little boy will make it through Kinder w/o being thrown out the first week. You cannot go wrong choosing Hatch House, and I’m happy to discuss my experience any time. Just ask Cynthia to reach out!
