I can’t even begin to describe the level of frustration and disappointment this cleaners caused us. I brought in a suit and a dress to get pressed. The garments were new and we just wanted to get the wrinkles from shipping out. When I dropped them off I was told it would be $20 for the suit and $20 for the dress. I made the mistake of telling them they were for our upcoming wedding. When they texted me that they were done the total jumped to $250!!! When I called and asked why I was told “wedding dresses cost more”… this isn’t an extravagant wedding dress. It’s not even a wedding dress. Our wedding is gonna be pretty informal, and the dress is a floral print summer dress. Either way, they should have told us the correct price when I dropped it off. The fact that they knew it was for our wedding led them to hold our garments hostage to extort an extra $200 out of us! After trying for three days to speak to a manager (who is conveniently never there) I picked them up, and paid their ransom. I have been trying to call them for two days, and now nobody answers, and it goes to a full voicemail, or they just pick up and hang up. I wish I had read the reviews before I brought my stuff in, but it never occurred to me something like this would happen. I’m not sure how they are even in business. We are already stressed out with all the wedding stuff, and it seems like everyone has to charge a “wedding tax” that is bleeding us dry… For shame!!!
Edit: We got married and it was great! When I went to put my jacked on this is how it came… It was a brand new jacket! The tags were still on it. Not only did they over charge me by $200 they damaged my suit! Luckily it was an easy fix, but this is the absolute worst cleaners that has ever existed.

I had to pick a star in order to leave a review. I would do no stars if possible. I dropped a dress off on the 30th of September, a date of October 1st at 6pm was on the receipt. I came that day and was told a little longer, came in the 4th, again, not “ready” and I was like ok they’re busy it’s fine. I came today, the 10th and all of a sudden I’m being told it was not in the system. Manager called, another person called, and someone said it was voided after I dropped it off because something was entered wrong. Nobody called me for an update or to let me know my number would change. The front person didn’t seem to want to go searching for my dress initially, but did so after calling the manager again. This is my wedding dress, albeit not a huge fancy dress, a simple little fitted lace dress, and I’m wearing it for my graduation for completing my RN program. Fortunately she found it, and when I asked if there was a discount that could be provided for all of this mess and mix up, she stated “only a manager can, well I can’t” I was already beyond frustrated so I wasn’t going to request her to call the manager again. She didn’t offer to try or really apologize. I know it wasn’t her fault but she could have at least offered to ask since they are the ones who messed up my ticket. The new ticket is labeled with a man’s name and an entirely different phone number. I don’t think I’ll be coming back after this. Clearly I am not Sean and I don’t think Sean wore this either, my number is also a San Antonio area code, not 512.

Lost my boyfriends slacks and vest for a wedding, this was 12/10. Still no sign of the vest or slacks and he had to wear jeans to a formal ceremony because of it. He still paid for the items he did receive but the damage was already done at this point. Do not recommend.

Just moved to this area and needed a new dry cleaners. I dropped off 7 suit pieces and was charged $55.21. Upon examining them, 2 jackets and 1 skirt had several noticeable disclorations that were NOT present prior. Went back to complain and the mgr, Aracely J. could not care any less. I asked for a refund of the 3 pieces and she refused. Only offering to send them back for another try. I really believe dry cleaners should get it right the FIRST time, I am very disappointed in this place and WILL NOT go back. I ask that a higher manager contact me over this....lets see if they care enough to do that.

The Jack Brown staff was very courteous and professional. They always have my cleaning ready when they tell me it is going to be ready.
