My experience at La Fontera Square was fantastic, thanks to Jennifer and the leasing team. From the beginning, Jennifer and her team were exceptionally friendly and made the leasing process seamless and hassle-free. They were attentive to all my questions and created a welcoming atmosphere. The apartment is both charming and well-maintained, and the community is impressively clean and quiet, adding to the overall comfort. If you're seeking a serene and pleasant place to live, I highly recommend La Fontera Square!

From the start, Jennifer and her colleagues were warm and welcoming, making the entire leasing process smooth and stress-free. They took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel right at home. The apartment is charming and well-kept, and the community has a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Loretta is amazing, I run into her often taking my dog on walks and every time she is out single handedly working hard to keep this place clean. I came home from work during an annual fire safety inspection and Loretta was in my unit with the inspectors keeping my dog calm, safe, and secure during a scary time for him. I am grateful for Loretta, thank you!!

Lived here for 5 years and I can tell you right now that the crime in this area has gone through the roof. From break-ins, to kids randomly going up and down the garage shooting cars with bb guns. The cops are literally always at this property and there doesn't seem to be anything being done about getting gates to secure the garages. Don't even give me started on how noisy it is on site with all the cars driving by. The only pros I have is that the maintenance is top-notch, but other than that avoid at all costs.

My partner and I recently looked at this apartment complex and the whole front staff was so kind! Shamara gave us the tour and we just absolutely fell in love with the place. The apartments give off a loft vibe which is always nice. We loved the pool area and the gym has a good amount of equipment. Not to mention the location is ideal with lots of shops and restaurants close by.

l’m thrilled to share my review after calling LFS home for almost three years. It was an ideal choice for my son and me, providing a peaceful environment that allowed us to thrive. As a parent, I specifically looked for an apartment with an elevator since my son was only a year and a half at the time, and I chose the 4th floor to reduce any normal noise from above. During my time there, I never heard any noise from my neighbors, and the office team's communication was commendable, addressing my concerns promptly.
The replacement of my washer demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Although I recently purchased a home and no longer live here, my son misses his old apartment. I thank Ryan, Briana, and the entire LFS team for everything!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Crime in the area has gotten terrible and management doesn't seem to care at all. Multiple cars being broken into on a daily basis, random people hanging out on top of the parking garage, etc. It just isn't safe and this has been an ongoing problem for a while now. On top of that, the area is SO loud. Every noise echoes through the hallways and you can constantly hear cars. It was hard to stay asleep living here because it was SO loud. The office staff was extremely rude and always seemed bothered to do their job. I felt like a burden anytime I had a question or concern. They just don't care. The only redeeming quality this place has is the maintenance staff. Literally everyone on the maintenance team was always so helpful and friendly and requests were always done in a timely manner..other than that...this place is the WORST apartment complex I've ever lived in and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I have been here for about a year. These apartments are great. I would like to thank Ryan and Nancy in the office for being very pleasant. The apartment manager has an alluring dom powerful woman vibe that I find steamy as heck. She’s also pretty nice. They invest in the complex to make them pretty which I appreciate a lot. I do wish they would change the pool water at some point during the summer. THAT POOL is 65% child pee as we enter the month of august. That’s kind of to be expected. Overall very pleasant staff and super timely responses to maintenance requests❤️. I will probably renew my lease if they lower the price of my rent to match the current prices posted on the website. Otherwise I’ll consider other options. Although LFS is a great place to live, the rent is $$$$$ compared to the other complexes in the area.

I lived here over 2 years. The layout and design are nice (4 star)! However, for the price point the property should be better maintained and residents should receive better customer service. I could list all the issues but just read the other low reviews for a snapshot. If I have time I may come back and add bullet points for ease.
For now I will say, if you are looking for a place that is visually pleasing but lacking in property management & resident care, this is your spot.

I just moved out after a couple years and I recommend this apartment complex. Brie and Ryan in the office were always helpful with anything that I needed. I also appreciate how quiet it was.

Maintenance requests are pretty easy to make through the website and the response time and fixes are quick, which is particularly important when your AC unit goes out in the summer!

Reconsider AT ALL COSTS moving into a unit anywhere on the sides/corner of Hester’s and La frontera Blvd where the 4 way traffic stop is. No matter what floor you’re on, There is DAILY and HOURLY obnoxiously loud honking and screeching, cars revving, speeding and fighting. A car just crashed last night feet away from all the 1st floor unit’s patios because they are on the street basically.
It’s like living by a race car track it’s SO LOUD ALL THE TIME!!!
On top of that; when your lease is up they will send you a renewal letter saying they value you as a resident and offer the same rate as what your paying to renew- however if you decide not to renew they put your unit back on the market for $100 less than what you were paying.
Make it make sense please…that doesn’t seem fair.
Oh and in the summer, if you have an apartment facing the sunset in the scorching hot summer your AC will not cool the apartment, we have our AC set to 69, 70 and our thermostat refuses to go below 77 all the time. Every evening. It’s so warm and uncomfortable.
Pros: Parking garage, but they have no security cameras and break ins happen frequently.

Being a new resident in this property has been quite smooth in settling in. Especially with the maintenance staff members one being Alex which is always going far beyond expectations. The staff here was extremely welcoming. The community was well-kept. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice amenities they offer were exceptional. I would recommend this property to anyone.
