This place is great! The maintenance staff is awe inspiring. They are prompt, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Best apartment complex in Central Texas by far! The leasing office staff is also pretty nice and make follow up calls to any outstanding maintenance request. Ryan is the absolute best as well as the other ladies. I'm extremely satisfied! Thank you so much for going above and beyond my expectations!

I lived here for two years, and while the apartments themselves are gorgeous. The complex has way too many issues that take away from the beauty of the apartments.Pros:- Like I said the apartments are gorgeous, my friends and family constantly talked about how nice the inside looked and it is one thing I will miss.- The location is a pro/con - you can get to 35 and Mopac quickly because the location is right in between, the domain is only 10 minutes away. Con - you’re surrounded by hotels, where people are in and out so thief and car jackings are common.- Maintenance is pretty quick and responsive, they are always nice and quick when they fix repairs.Cons:- The staff is extremely rude - outside of the property manager - who is a very sweet person and the maintenance. The office staff is rude, asking them to do anything within their jobs, is impossible is usually met with rudeness and incompetence (Chaz and Ryan being the worse). They seriously act as if you are bothering them. I have no clue why they are working in customer service, if they can’t even pretend to be nice. Even when people are nice to them, they are still rude.So as long as you don’t need the staff for ANYTHING, your stay will be pleasant. The staff is largely why I left honestly. I paid my rent on time, every month with zero issues and the few times, I had to talk to them, was always a bigger hassle than it had to be.- Outside of the gates and having to buzzed in, the parking garage is a free to all, which means break-ins. I even had a car broken into and when I talked to the staff, if anything was going to done to prevent this from happening again to anyone else’s car?! They told me “crime has No zip code” —- okay so ya’ll suck. So don’t expect them to do anything when your car get’s broken into.Another time, I walked away from my car for 20 minutes, and in the 20 minutes, I was gone someone had went through my car.So yeah, keep your car clean and LOCKED at all times. Even if you’re just walking away for a moment. Yes the thieves are that bold and the apartment complex refuses to do anything about it.- The garage. The garage is awful at even given time, there are random people walking around, sometimes smoking weed, sometimes just standing around doing god knows what, it smells so bad, there is glass everywhere- due to car break ins and people speed through the garage, like there is race track.People blast music from their cars at all hours of the night, fights have been broken out in the park and parking garage and it is all around noisy and gross. The amount of times, I had someone ride my butt for no reason at all is ridiculous. Some people will allow their friends to park in your parking spot and dare you to say something. The new influx of people who moved in, are inconsiderate and awful. One lady even let her dog just poop in the hallway and walked off as if no one saw a thing. The cops are constantly at the complex for some matter.- Thief. The first year and I half I was there, I really didn’t have any problem ( besides my car being broken into) until the last 6 months, when an influx of people moved in, suddenly things turned for the worse, packages started getting stolen and at one point Amazon left a package on my doorstep and someone sliced the box open and looked through my stuff. Luckily for me, it was just a smart scale but had it been something of value and expensive I would have been SOL.- Moving out: It a hassle, per usual I turned in my required written notice, when I called up to follow up on it, the staff claimed they did not receive the email and tried to make stay an extra month - I did anyways for another reason but once again it showed their incompetence and re-enforced that I did make a good decision to move. While other people were charged ridiculous fee’s when moving out (read the reviews) I expected the same and braced myself for a fight, even though they did find some excuse to most of the deposit, I did get some of the back. It’s better than nothing I suppose.I honestly would not recommend here.

Spoke with management at moveout. Then pending items were sent to the wrong address. Got charged and management wouldn't even discuss. Be careful with hidden charges, even if there's a mistake on their part.

I am upset because it seems like every time I come to visit my family there are cars broken into. 2 months ago there was a car broken into right next to mine in visitor parking. Now there have been 7 cars broken into all in one night. It’s sad that I don’t feel like I can even visit my family coming back from college or holidays.

We’ve been living here for about 8 months now and there’s a lot of pros and cons.PROS:-Staff is super friendly.-The maintenance staff and response time is fantastic. Anytime I’ve had an issue with pests, leaks, or A/C unit not working they fixed it the day I put my request.-Amazon Lockers are very convenient.-There’s Trash valet 5 days out of the week.-Reserved parking.-Shopping center across the street.-Too many food options in a very short distance.-2 Gyms-A lovely study area with coffee and hot cocoa by the main office.-High ceilings and tall doors.-Very spacious bedroom/restroom/closet combo.-Lots of natural light.-Great floor plans for roommates.-Parking garage saved us from the hail storm, so it’s a good option if you can’t afford a garage in other complexes, but want covered parking.-Fast police response time.-Fire Station across the street.CONS:-It’s a very old apartment building and it’s starting to show.-Water is getting shut down twice since we’ve been here, so they can fix leaks.-The trash compactor is down quite often.-While we’ve been here I’ve seen ants, we’ve had our A/C go out, and a bathroom sink leak, but the maintenance crew here is fantastic and it was all fixed within a few hours.-There have been a couple of break ins in peoples vehicles and this has been an issue years back from what I’ve seen on other peoples reviews. Not sure why they don’t just add security cameras at the garage entrances.-We heard a gunshot in the parking garage from people arguing on Halloween. Police response was very fast, but very scary situation.-Parking garage can get loud, specially on the weekends. People coming home after a night of partying will wake you up if you’re a light sleeper. Same goes for loud cars and motorcycles.-Having two gyms is great, but the equipment is outdated. I requested to see if they could add a stair master since one of the treadmills is broken, but never heard back. I go to the gym quite often so it would be great if they added a stair master.Overall, I really like living here and I understand it’s and old complex and things happen, but all I care about if how the office and staff respond to my concerns and so far they’ve been great. For the cost of living and the location of this place, I honestly think it’s a great deal.

Been living here for over a year now and if I could’ve left at the time of my lease renewal I would have. Not the absolute worst in RR but far from the best. Valet trash is not always picked up but if you leave your bin outside you will get a lease violation (personal experience) and trash chutes are often down. The call boxes are useless and you have to walk to let in any guests or if you have any delivery service. It seems to be a part of the fake security this place offers but beware several cars have been vandalized in the parking garage. I was also approached in the parking garage to ask if I had seen someone’s drugs from the night before when they ran from the police into our parking garage. Apartments are decent on the inside with a nice industrial feel but utility bills have been very high because of the ceilings so something to keep in mind. The only pros of this place is Amazon lockers and friendly maintenance staff. Not worth the price you will pay for it especially if you decide to stay for another lease term. For this price I would encourage to at least get a place with a bedroom door.

I visited my friends not too long ago and i saw how clean the apartments looked, oh boy, it does take a team to make it look this good.I am happy with how clean the air feels and smells vs where i`m currently living. My buds also pointed out how the team sweats outside as we were talking about our past jobs n stuff, yeah, i miss it not going to lie, thought about joining myself honestly if i did not live so far away but sadly nu.In Short this team of hard working individuals needs a raise for what i call ," so clean i can eat off the toilets" kinda clean.Making me want to move here now.........as long as you have the team, maybe next year i`ll apply for an apartment. Also be safe out there, i hope they provide water and Gatorade like a responsible employer would in this heat.

Its nice waking up and being able to step outside and not see trash everywhere. I always see Loretta busting her behind to make sure everything looks satisfactory, even my friends rave about her and her hard working ethics. She IS the team! I have seen surrounding properties and they are garbage compared to this diamond of a complex, but after meeting Loretta, it's just icing on the cake.

I lived here for 18 months, and I enjoyed it! This was my first home in Round Rock after I relocated for a job. Special mention to Ryan who was there during my whole stay and responded to a lot of my inquiries.Things that I liked:- The apartments are spacious with high ceilings- Maintenance is very fast to respond to requests- The lounge is very nice, although it's only open when the leasing office is- The pool and hot tub are nice too- The park next door is great for walking your dog or jogging- They allow up to 2 pets- The deductions from my deposit were reasonable, and I got most of it backSome minor concerns:- The valet trash service didn't pick up trash sometimes. The valet trash fee is mandatory, so you can't really opt out. From what I've read online, this seems to be a common problem with any apartment that uses Valet Living- I'm not sure if La Frontera Square manages the park next door, but there was a time when the pet waste bins weren't maintained. They were overflowing with p*** bags, and the bag dispensers were out. This wasn't a problem during my last months there thoughOverall, I would say La Frontera Square is a nice place to live. I'm satisfied with my time here

Our maintenance is 5 star! On top of keeping the pool/grills clean, dog p*** and maintenance orders always. Keeping the complex a happy and comfortable place to live in.

I have lived here for 4.5 years and I absolutely love this place. The manager, Taylor, and her staff (Ryan, Alex and all the rest) are all exceptional. They handle everything that could ever arise with great ease and professionalism.

Lived here for a year on the first floor. Only saw roaches for three days when it started getting cold but the building people handled it right away. The management is very nice and kind, I would recommend just going to the office for issues because they'll solve it right away. The valet trash was strange to get use to at first but honestly made me feel spoiled after I got use to it! My move out process was very smooth and I even got my safety deposit back. For a first time apartment it was a great place to live.
