Lammes Candies is a fantastic local candy store and Austin institution that has been around since 1885. It is Austin's hometown candy shop, specializing in the Texas Chewie Pecan Praline, handcrafted chocolates, and bulk candies. They offer more than 1,000 items, from delicious Longhorns and scrumptious pralines to chocolate covered strawberries. The experience of tasting every type of candy is a real treat. The amount of greatness Lammes Candies has all around is astounding. It is considered the best chocolate in Texas. The staff provides incredible customer service, always helpful and cheery, with happiness visible on their faces and in their voices. They will even wrap gifts for customers. The wait is typically minimal, though the small store can get quite busy. Parking is usually plentiful in its strip center location. Lammes Candies most certainly deserves five stars.
Great customer service. I went in to buy a gift for someone and decided on a selection of truffles. They even wrapped it for me. Definitely will be back again.

Come for their chocolate covered strawberries and stay for everything else. Their treats are amazingly delicious.
