“They got a little bit of everything here they also got a very good hole in the wall mexican taqueria inside that sells hamburgers with pickled jalapeño (yum) I’ve had the torta as well. Highly recommend those two. But they got other options I haven’t tried yet.”

“DJ is such a great guy. I very much enjoy visiting with him every time I go to this store. When I first visited he asked me what I was looking for. And bc he didn’t currently have it I let him know what my favorite wine is and now he has it chilled and waiting for me every time I come in. He’s so friendly and personable. “For such a tiny store, they manage to pack in a great selection of liquor here. They have all sorts of liquor, beer, and wine inside. I do not do a lot of liquor or wine drinking myself. I primarily like beer and an occasional cocktail. However, my wife typically likes whatever is not beer, so wine and liquor for her. That's primarily why I come here at all, really. For her. She's pretty picky about the brand of liquor she likes, and she doesn't often find it in other small liquor stores. But this place carries all of the liquors and other various side drinks she craves. They also have an awesome selection of mini-bottles. She buys those because they're easy to sneak into movies and sporting events and such. The beer selection is adequate, I suppose. I usually buy beer at H-E-B, but I saw they had Miller Lite here. I guess it's nice knowing they stock Miller Lite if I ever need to buy some here out of convenience someday in the future. They also have cigars. The last time I came in and looked around I noticed their ice cooler was empty. I don't know if that's usually the case or what. Pro Tip: There is a 7-11 which usually has ice right across the parking lot.”

“So, if you’ve not been in here - I HIGHLY recommend it. For one thing, I’d heard that you cannot get a better deal on Vapes: Absolutely TRUE! Normally, I pay $20-$25 per vape. Here - they’re $13 and if you buy 5, it’s $11! Basically, you’re getting Buy Two and Get THREE FREE! Yeah. No brainer.”
“Specs is my favorite beverage store in Austin. Others like Twin Liquors pretty much only carry alcohol, but Specs has a lot more variety, their prices are better, and if you’re looking for non-alcoholic drinks, they have them. They also have a huge pile of boxes near the front, which are great if you need boxes to move!”

The store manager Tevan was working and juggling multiple customers when we arrived. He made sure to welcome us, took time to understand our needs, and make some great recommendations. The devotion and level of service was truly remarkable.
He made sure to order enough for us to be sure our pickup was quick and easy. We even went back the next day to get wine for our dinner that night and the staff there was just as incredible.

“The convenience of having a store so close to surrounding neighborhoods is such a nice thing. They have groceries, a bakery, wine and beer. The service is always courteous and friendly. The only thing they're missing is a meat market. It's a great store!!”
“This is a nice tucked away liquor store that always has helpful employees! I first stumbled upon this place when looking for a specific bottle for a friend’s birthday that was sold out all over the city. After calling and speaking to someone at the store they assured me they had a bottle available. After that first visit, I was impressed by their selection and the convenient location.”
“A little non descript liquor store in a very old and crumbling asphalt strip mall. The selection wasn't the biggest but they had a bottle of whiskey I was looking for and the price wasn't that bad. It was over msrp but not by a lot and I was ok with that. The two clerks were very friendly and informative of bottles they had and also of what allocated bottles they had. They had other bottles of allocated whiskey that went for a lot more at other stores. These guys were nice and fair and I will give them my business whenever I'm in the area...”

“This fairly new Quiktrip is located at the corner of Deepwood Drive and 620. This particular location boasts of eight pumping stations. Inside you will find a very impressive coffee station and a fresh kitchen. Also inside, you will find the usual weenie rollers with all the fixings along with an impressive number of drinks stations. There are hot grab and go and cold grab and go food items. They sell every imaginable alcoholic and non-alcoholic canned and bottled item and even have a small amount of craft beer. There is an ATM, ice, but propane tanks are not available here. If you do decide to get something from the kitchen, they do have two outdoor tables to sit at. I've written up a number of these Quiktrips and they are designed to beat the competition on all counts. Plenty of photos included to prove it.”
