Today 11/01/25, I had a disappointing experience with customer service while trying to open a checking account. I visited on a Saturday at 2PM, only to be told that there were already two walk-ins and they couldn’t help me with opening an account, despite the fact that they closed at 4PM. I decided not to open an account at the end. I’ll look for better customer service.

Rude employees and old tech.
When I first joined they had many friendly employees. As they left they are being replaced with rude girls that clearly don’t even want to be there.
The manager is nice but she rarely is the one doing the transactions.
2 computers in the lobby are from the early 2000’s and need to be updated. It would be nice to see this place invest in itself. I won’t be around for it though. Too many other banks in the area that hopefully won’t be so short and rude on a regular basis

First time at this location. I found the tellers very nice and helpful. It was empty, so we had a little chat about the area, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to use this location again!

I should’ve read the reviews before going to this location. Terrible customer service and support. Teller Number 767 obviously hates her job or life. Please find her a new position or some training. She was unapologetic, rude and cold. Needless to say, I withdrew all my money and will not do business with them any longer. Sad since I’ve been a member for many, many years. They just do not care about people anymore! It’s all about fees and transactions. Thank God there’s so many other good creditable credit unions here!

The stars are for a teller who was caring, kind, professional, and loving. He was a black male with glasses. I think his name is Ryan. I wish all tellers at any branch were like you. Most of the tellers including the other ones at this location are just hateful and bitter. Thank you Ryan for rising above and being a great role model

I have had so many problems dealing with RBFCU for my vehicle loans. The process was long, and they made multiple mistakes. Then when I went to sell my truck they had my car titled in the wrong name, and they admitted fault but it caused a huge problem for me when I was selling my car. After moving to another bank I realized how bad the service actually was. Try out the other local credit unions if you're looking for good service that you can count on.

Absolutely terrible service. I spoke with supervisor/manager Samantha and a clerk named Denise and they were of no help. I ordered a new card and never received it after calling them for weeks for an update today they tried to charge me $35 for a new card because they sent it to the wrong address. They Never updated my address. (I updated my address with them three times now).

Sarah was extremely helpful, she helped me get a savings account and informed me. Being young with no parents to guide you has been rough, but with wonderful people like Sarah to help it becomes easier. This girl deserves a raise and much more, thank you.

Update 1/10/25 it has now been over two months since dealing with their home equity department and nothing has been resolved but they continue to take money from me as if the transaction is done. Complete FRAUD on RBFCU behalf they will take your money and not care about the customer after. In response to their bs generic reply down below! RBFCU is not sorry for any inconvenience they just care about money and not helping their members. Again DO NOT DO BUSINESS with RBFCU!!
Do not do business with their Home Equity team! When things go wrong their team will leave you high and dry…zero respect for their members! I expressed my frustration over our situation due to the holidays and having kids and RBFCUs response is flat out “oh well”. Again stay far away from anything to do with this credit union…calling out you Tammy Poland in home equity management!

Rbfcu is one of the worst banks ever. If you're wanting to open a new account, Don't do it here, they hold every check for up to 7 business days until you have been with them more than a month, so if you have bills to pay , you're screwed !! Rude as hell . The teller in the drive thru in Roundrock was so rude. I'm going to change banks. This isn't the 1st issue I've had with them !!

DO NOT BANK WITH RBFCU!! It has been 4x my card has just stopped working and I’m in line to make purchases and don’t have access to my funds because of some hold they state just happens without any reasoning. Then I have to spend 20-30min on the call to get it resolved. It’s embarrassing and a huge inconvenience. I can’t wait to switch banks again. Never AGAIN

Extremely disappointed in this branch. Went in for one thing - a new checkbook. Asked them to place the order, was told to write my address down and they would order them for me. Come to find out they never placed the order at all! Now I have to once again go in to the bank to get a cashiers check to pay our bills. All could’ve been avoided if they had placed the order for the checks when they said they would. Very inconvenient.

Never had a negative experience here. Tellers are always kind and prompt, and I'm able to do my transactions in a timely manner
