Nice clean and organized facilities. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great selection of plants and products. I'm making RRGC my new go-to place.
Only down side is that communication needs improvement. They do not answer the phone, and it may take 1+ days to return a message.

So disappointed with Round Rock Garden center’s customer service. My experience: went to the garden center to seek help for st Augustine turf problem help. Very nice woman working there said their turf expert was out at a conference but would be back the next day. Instructed me to text pics and questions to their business phone. She assured me he would see it and get back to me. It’s been five days and I’ve left voicemail and texted again several times. The company phone never is picked up and the message instructs to send text messages and someone will get back to you. This is obviously failing as a process. What a waste of of potential local garden resource. I now have to go into Austin for help. Round Rock is loosing out.

Jake was amazing!! He really helped me out with deciding what to put in my yard. I showed him pictures of my full sun problem section of my yard and he asked the right questions about HOA's, shade I want, how much space there is, etc. We finally landed on just planting another live oak!
They're having a 50% off plants and trees besides tropical right now, so only the oak was only $100. I think the sale is so drastic because these 40 days of excessive heat and drought caused recreational gardening to be really stressful on the body, and water restrictions from the counties asking us to postpone any new landscaping plantings means people simply can't plant!
I also learned the center has people who work for the garden center who will plant your trees for you, and the rate was very reasonable in my opinion.
I ended up buying four liriopes and one fig tree. The fig tree is just for me to see if it'll grow, really! I ended up not getting another live oak in case we want to put a pool in the back yard some day. I plan to put more effort into a pomegranate tree to go next to my fig tree as well when they get those in stock -- they said in September. The liriopes, aka monkey grass, was a great suggestion for places in my yard that only have 1 ft of space (not pictured), will be perennial, grow in sun and shade, and not take too much maintenance. The roots on both plants were nice and healthy and the fig had a tiny bit of spiraling, that was not too much trouble, and the soil they used was great! It was so soft and their organic planting soil I used to mix with my heavy clay/rocky soil was also soft and free of debris.
Update: The fig tree is still alive a month later! That's a win in this drought.
Update 2: plants and fig tree still thriving (despite the fact that I need to pull the weeds and mulch and edge a much bigger area for the fig tree) I found out they have a Facebook group where they post about all their latest plant shipments and answer questions. It's quite nice!
Update 3: My fig tree is doing great despite having lost a branch! I rewarded it with some fresh mulch today.
Update 4: My fig tree survived a harsh cold snap in the winter!
Update 5: We had a lot of rain and my fig tree has grown so much! I didn't even do anything special for it.

This place is wonderful! The employees are very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. These guys got us everything we needed for our garden and it didn't break the bank.
They also jump started our truck when the battery decided to die in the parking lot.
Great people, great service, and beautiful plants. Highly recommend!

Much better selection of organic supplies than the big box stores. Happy to pay a little more for local businesses.

As a plant lover, this place is plant HEAVEN. For me personally, I like to purchase indoor houseplants, and this nursery offered a large variety of plants from common to rare. They had such a wide selection of indoor tropical plants and they all looked healthy and happy. This plant nursery definitely has something for everyone, they have 2 outdoor shrub sections, the indoor tropical plants section, as well as fertilizer and soil mixes and multiple options for different size pots! I was also very impressed with the large range of pot sizes, colors, and the fact that they ALL have good-sized drainedge holes makes a huge difference. Oftentimes it is hard to find good quality pots for a good price with a drainedge hole, yet this plant store definitely does not have that problem. They have pot in all colors of the rainbow in various sizes, along with more simple modern neutral colors such as a different marble colors.
Overall, this nursery has beautiful healthy, unique plants with affordable pricing, and kind workers. 10/10 I would come here again.

Always friendly service and eager to help. Had a fungus growing, so it took some of the plant up, and they quickly figured out what it was. Caught it early, and now we are in business!! Thank you, Round Rock Garden!
