This hotel is absolutely vile and should be shut down. I stayed at Staybridge Suites Round Rock from 8/31–9/1 with my family, booking two rooms, and what we experienced was horrible. The first room was muggy, dirty, and smelled putrid, with hair, stains, and even a massive blood stain on the mattress. The second room had an actual bug crawling on the bed. After complaining, we were bounced from room to room, inspecting more than seven in total, and every single one was a nightmare—filthy linens, mattresses reeking of rot, and one mattress so badly stained it literally looked like a corpse had decomposed in it. This wasn’t an isolated issue but a clear pattern of neglect and filth throughout the entire property. To make it worse, I overheard housekeeping telling the front desk, “they can’t be looking at all the rooms like that,” which proves they know exactly how disgusting this place is and are simply trying to cover it up. This is not just bad service—it’s dangerous, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. The Staybridge Suites Round Rock is a disgrace to the IHG brand, a breeding ground for disease, and an insult to anyone unfortunate enough to book here. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay in this dump.

The team is excellent. Iris the lady manager front desk is a very careful about the order and efficiency of the hotel. I stay here with my family for 1 week.

EDIT: Dropping review to one star. THIS PLACE HAS FLEAS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION.
I travel once a month for work and have tried many hotels and brands out there. Generally the Staybridge Suites has been a consistent quality experience.
Staybridge Suites Round Rock has changed that opinion for me. Do not be fooled by the pictures they put up online; this hotel is OLD and desperately needs updating.
The hallways and common rooms are very warm and a little muggy. This is not acceptable for Texas where it's hot and muggy 24/7. When we walk into a hotel we expect it to be fresh. The carpets in the hallways also need a deep, DEEP clean or just to be ripped up and replaced all together. 3/10
The dining area television is on its last leg. It's honestly pathetic how Staybridge Suites Round Rock has failed to replace this television. A consistent blue hue is present on the TV. Who wants to bet when the TV does die the management of this property will just leave it there? 3/10
Furthermore every chair in the dining area has stains. I understand people spill food but when every chair has stains that are years old, then the best time to replace them was yesterday, the second best time to replace them is today. 2/10
The breakfast was... Serviceable, I guess. The eggs were hotel eggs, bacon is bacon, but the potatoes were reheated tater tots. Dried out and hard. There are some Staybridge Suites out there where the employee in charge of the kitchen actually makes something. One Staybridge the kitchen staff made migas con huevo with what they had. Why aren't you trying, Round Rock? 2/10
The room, just like the rest of the hotel is showing its age. The door latch is one you'd expect to find at your local apartment complex, and following that same vein you can tell management has had a painting company slather 10 coats of paint on the doors to hide damage. 3/10
Speaking of damage, on the separating door for the King suite the handle of the door is almost coming off and on the backside the latch is missing a screw. What's the cost of a screw, 5¢ at Home Depot? 1/10
Lastly we come to the gym. One thing I like about Staybridge Suites is the gyms typically have a pulley machine for expanded exercises outside of just dumbbells. Staybridge Suites Round Rock does not. All they have are a few cardio machines and some dumbbells. The room is also poorly lit (unlike the picture). I suppose going for a run on the treadmill in the poor lighting you can imagine yourself running for your life at your local serial killers house. 2/10
All in all, this is a very mid Staybridge Suites. In future I will not return to this location until the management changes and the hotel gets some much needed upgrades. There's another Staybridge Suites 15m down the road. Go there instead.
To the management of Staybridge Suites Round Rock: out of 70 possible points you have received 16. 22%. If a failing grade is acceptable, keep doing what you're doing. If being a failure isn't acceptable, it's time you look at the reviews you get and actually make plans to update this old hotel.

Staff was friendly when it came to checking in. However, our biggest problem was the COCKROACHES. We only stayed one night (thankfully) but upon arrival I found a cockroach in the bathroom. We had arrived late at night from a 9hour drive so we decided to tough it out for one night. As my friends and I took turns showering, another friend lets me know that as he is showering, small pieces of the ceiling fell on his head. He was disgusted! The following morning after we went down for breakfast, we came back to the room to find yet another cockroach in the bathroom! It is clear there is a roach problem at this hotel and it is falling apart. Not only that but the smell of mold was strong and the moldings are rotting around the room. I will never stay at this location again.

My husband and I recently stayed at this location for 4 nights while traveling to Austin and it was a very pleasant stay. Checking in was fairly standard, although they did require us to supply the car tag # (we were in a rental so my husband had to run back outside to get it). We were then quickly checked in to the king size one bedroom suite we reserved. Our room was clean, had a nice layout and it was in a pretty quiet location at the end of the hall on the 4th floor. Breakfast was included and they had plenty of options including waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal and fruit. When back in Austin, I would definitely look to staying here again.

Old property barely maintained. Housekeeping does a good job. Rroom had foul smell and barely working a/c. If they give such room to platinum elite members, the rest are screwed. Night auditor needs better training on customer service. Day time female employee at desk was very helpful. Breakfast was like a motel. These franchises are ruining hospitality. Wont return.

I recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Round Rock Texas. After years of staying at this particular hotel, this will be the last visit. Attached are pictures of the lack of cleanliness found upon entering our room. When we arrived we were not greeted and when I asked the gentleman standing if he was busy (doing something with key cards) he replied just scanning cards. I responded simply with “Oh”. About a minute later he stated “can I help you with something?” In a tone that was not friendly. When I responded “just checking in” there was no response. When he finished his task is when he then waited on us. There was no thank you for waiting. The rest of the interaction was mostly standard and I was thanked for being a member. Breakfast hours or location of room was not discussed. The room was not clean and the wear and tear was very evident. The accessibility room stated it had seat for the tub, this room did not. There were no extra pills or blankets. Later that evening I opened the fold out bed and was disgusted to see an old dirty stained mattress with no mattress cover, sheets or blankets.
Checked out early but the reception was on her cell phone. Waited a minute for her to address us, but she simply looked and continued her phone conversation. I dropped off the keys and as I walked away heard her say to the person on the phone “love you baby”. This morning I checked the app and we still had NOT been checked out even though the keys had been dropped off last night! It’s amazing to me how the hotel industry is going to h3ll! This used to be a very nice hotel. It is very sad and disappointing to see the deterioration, of what was once a great hotel. Poor service, rooms in desperate need of repairs, lack of cleanliness in the rooms. The dish soap was watered down, and no dish rag to wash dishes with. I am only one person who doesn’t travel often, but I did like to stay at IHG hotels. This is my last stay with this establishment.
