I've been super happy with Thrive since moving here. All 4 of my pets go there and the vets and techs are super responsive to my questions and are very personable, explains things very well and ate gentle with my pets.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. The clinic overall is good but be careful if you sign up for their membership. I had to report my cards stolen a while back and I haven't updated my payment information on here- but somehow they manage to pull their monthly payment when It has been declining without my authorization for the new card. BE AWARE and it's hard to find someone to contact or cancel.

Such great people! My most recent visit was yesterday. My 2 yo extraordinarily hyper Blue Healer. I had come in with him the day before, but he was bouncing off the walls and barking/lunging at the doctor. I was prescribed some meds to calm him down for a rescheduled visit, yesterday. Despite being medicated, he was still too aggressive/protective. I was expecting to still pay for the visit, but they did not charge me. I wasn't charged either visit. And that's just the most recent in a long line of great experiences with Thrive. A different pooch 7 years ago needed surgery after eating a rope toy. I would've payed anything, but didn't have the $3000+ that others were charging. Thrive saved her life for $500. They have always been very patient and easy going, and the past two days are just more examples.

Great emergency vet $132 for the appointment, but was the only vet with no wait on a Saturday when my dog was super sick.

Scheduled appointment at 10 for my dog, second time i took her there , prior visit I updated all my information for my dog, they never inputted it. On my next visit they said I had to get authorization from my daughter in houston , they never put in the updated information. Totally upset by now. After that they stuck me and my dog in a room for 40 minutes when a tech came in and said the vet still had one more exam to go , and what was strange there were others there scheduled at 10 as well and they went right in to see the vet? Overall a bad experience, alot of anxiety for a dog having to wait that long, and if your appointment is at 10, sticking someone in a room for 40 minutes only to tell you one more to go, then it is time to definitely find another vet.

Was quoted $400-$500 for a Spay on a young cat seems really high compared elsewhere

Came here with my dog who was having trouble breathing. The team was very compassionate with the ultimate decision we had to make that day. They were great with my kids, and helped explain the process. Terrible day, but they made it as easy as possible

This was a helpful experience when my pet was seriously ill. They were knowledgeable, compassionate, and competent. The vet went out of his way to find a place for my pet at a hospital in town. They also were careful to inform me about any costs.

Staff is amazing. My dog felt really comfortable. Only downside is that they did not honor the coupon that I called about and confirmed twice on. Otherwise great staff

Waited nearly 3 hours to be seen. This is my second visit for my dog's infected ear. I will not be returning. The first visit did nothing for my dog and cost me an arm and a leg in expenses. The second visit I was told they were going through some pet emergencies, so I was being patient and was told I could wait in my car and they would call me when it is my turn to be seen.An hour and a half later I called, asking if the emergencies are resolved, and I am told that emergencies were resolved long ago and everyone else has been seen. Now the doctors are going on lunch and refuse to see me until this afternoon. If you value professionalism and expect to be treated with care, Thrive on Louis Henna is not the place to go.

‼️Cat parents beware‼️Didn’t have the best experience here with my cat. Wish I had read the reviews first- a lot of dog owners rate 5 stars, but most cat owners have rated 1-2. It seems there’s a common theme of the vet here not wanting to give cats the care they need without pushing anxiety meds/sedation first. My cat needed an anal gland expression and I usually take her to Vetco but they had no openings so I brought her here. $140 for them to tell me they couldn’t express her because “she didn’t want to”. Took her to Vetco a few days later, they expressed her no problem. I get it, cats are scary, but if they have some policy against treating cats without giving them medication/sedating them first, they should really say that.

"Teddy's mom is here". Every time I heard that I felt so cared for and like they knew how much my baby means to me and that they were going to do everything possible to help him. My sweet heart had HGE and this place went above and beyond to help my baby and me with the finances. Hospitalizing sick dog for nearly 2 days is not cheap but it was more than worth it and months after I'm so beyond grateful. My baby is happy and healthy and his hair they had to shave off for his IV is finally grown back!

Thrive will not provide any spay cost without an exam. Considering they are suppose to be low cost, I thought it would be worth stressing my kitten out to bring her in to get a quote. I was wrong. $559 for the spay! I opted to go elsewhere as even my regular vet is cheaper than that.
