I liked the self checkout option, a little lengthy but it was good. The truck in the other hand could have been a little better, but since my haul was short it didn't bother me.

The man who runs this location is incredibly friendly and made picking up and dropping off our truck super easy! Truck was great and we had no problems on that end. Highly recommend!

Total joke. I rented a 26 foot truck here, flew into Austin to make my move, got to the location with a message on my phone that they didn’t have a 26 foot available. Of course there’s a 26 foot sitting right in front of me, but the office is closed. Message said to call a phone number so I could get into a 20 footer. After 30 minutes of waiting on hold I finally got somebody in San Antonio. Extremely frustrated. My truck is sitting right here and nobody here to let me pick it up. And no wonder their parking lot is full of cars, nobody can rent anything!

I have used different Uhaul locations for previous moves without any issues. I chose this location because it is a short distance to where we are moving. I meticulously created a schedule for our moving day and reserved the Uhaul for 830 am.Now less than 24 hours before our move, I received a phone call stating I can pick my truck up at 10. Because of other things I have scheduled for that day, 10 will not work. I made my reservation for the time I needed the truck.I purchased a couch and the retailer agreed to hold it 2 weeks, until 10am on my moving day. If I don't pick it up at my scheduled time, I lose it.I was told the person who reserved the truck before me needs it longer and there's nothing Uhaul can do about it.Their scheduling problem is NOT my issue. I made my reservation for the time I need it. If there was a possibility the truck would not be available, Uhaul should have had another truck available for the time I reserved.Now, I have to scramble to find another truck through someone else before tomorrow.

I reserved a truck 4 days before I needed it. I got an email stating everything was good and I’d be able to check in and pick up the truck via my phone on the day of the reservation. I arrived at 3:05 for my 3pm pickup. I tried to go online and book the truck but it kept telling me I had to wait until 2pm the day of the reservation to pick it up.Well it’s 305 on the day of the reservation so that makes no sense.I called and got through to someone who told me they can’t help me but they will transfer me to another department.I spoke to someone who told me I can not pick up my truck because this location did not put the keys inside the truck. So you’re telling me their ONE job to do for my reservation that I reserved 4 days ago, of putting Keys into a truck, they could not fulfill.I have spent a full 2 hours on the phone with Uhaul today and nobody is offering any solutions (besides driving an hour out of my way to pick up the one truck that is “ready” with no discount on gas or anything). Now I need to request off another day from work, lose more money, pay for helpers AGAIN, because this place could not do their job. But there is nothing they can do.This is unbelievable and I can not understand how they are so incompetent. Do not pick this location if you need somewhere you can count on.
