Kyle is a good pharmacist. I ordered a prescrption to be delivered. Was informed it would be delivered at 6 when I ordered it after 3. After 7 and still waiting. Time to change pharmacies.

I have used Walgeens for many years, especially this location. While there can be hiccups with insurance, filling procedures, automated system, etc... they always go out of their way to make sure I get my medication.

Not even one star!! If only there’s a way to put zero as in ZERO!! We booked for an appointment for a vaccination like four days ahead. But when we arrived there they told me that they don’t have the vaccine. They didn’t even reached out to tell me also ahead of time to cancel the appointment and head to other pharmacy or clinics. Wasted my time.

I'm not sure why this particular Walgreens is scored low on Yelp. I went around 9pm on a Saturday. It was pretty empty and everything was stocked. I was killing some time before meeting friends. So went through every aisle. It seemed very cleaned, stocked and the staff was friendly. One asked if I needed anything and I told them I just killing time. I had a great chat with my cashier because I ended up spending $100 on a time killing trip. I only gave them 4 stars because the re was customers in the front not wearing mask. That didn't bother me but the fact the sign says mandatory I would like for establishments to abide by that. The customers removed themselves after my harsh glare at them. They came back in with mask on. A pretty convenient Walgreens on 79.

I was in Walgreen towards the end of the night looking for a certain item. The team on staff that night did not disappoint. Stone the front cashier looked up the item for me. He found it but it wasn't on the floor. He called the manager on duty to assist. Marcela the manager on duty did not hesitate to search the stock room when she could have easily said it should be out in a few days. While she searched the stock room another employee Alyssa went through boxes and totes on the store floor. After countless minutes of searching and not giving up, Alyssa found what I was looking for. I was very impressed with the entire store team and their selfless search for one customer. Not only did they save me from going to other countless stores, they wouldn't let me leave until they found it. This will be my Walgreens from now on. My shopping experience that night was amazing and as long as Walgreens continue to hire employees like this, I will continue to shop at the Walgreen on Hwy 79! Thanks again!

I've used this pharmacy Drive Thru 4 times so far in two months. Their response time is poor. I understanding waiting but I have to wait each and every time I've been there for over 15 minutes in my car. There are no other customers in the store waiting, no one but me is in the Drive thru. The male pharmacist has an uninviting disposition each time I've been there. He clearly sees me drive up, will not turn to acknowledge I'm waiting. After five minutes or so when I think he will help me, he tells me "someone will be with you shortly". I then wait about 10 minutes or more until someone else comes by to help me. It's never a warm welcome or any welcome with these people who work in the Pharmacy department. DEFINITELY LACKS the "welcome, we're glad you keep us in business". Unfortunately, I'm use them because of their location and convenience.

I went to this Walgreens on Palm Valley several days ago to get a pneumonia shot. The pharmacist gave the shot too up high on my arm, next to my shoulder. I screamed and screamed loudly in pain in the store. It was excruciating, like a knife being driven into me. The shot caused a shoulder injury that I'm continuing to deal with days after the shot. When vaccines are given too high on the arm it can cause serious, prolonged shoulder injuries that may also require shoulder surgery. The medical condition is called "shoulder injury related to vaccine administration" and is also known as SIRVA. I was in terrible pain the night of the shot and the next morning. My arm was frozen when I woke up the day after the shot and I could barely move it. I had to make an emergency visit to an orthopedic doctor that day. The doctor told me the shot was so high up (the bandaid the pharmacist put on was still in place) that it could have gone into my rotator cuff. The doctor suggested I have an MRI. When I called Walgreens to report this, I was told the young pharmacist was a floater and was not an employee of the store. I was told by the Walgreens store manager that someone overseeing healthcare for Walgreens would call me back about the injury. Several days later, no one from Walgreens has called me back, indicating Walgreens doesn't seem to care when its pharmacist injures someone. I don't know what's ahead for me regarding my injury from getting the vaccine at the wrong location on my arm. Several days after the shot my arm and shoulder are still bothering me and I cannot fully raise my arm and my lower arm is still throbbing. I'm seeing one of Austin's top shoulder surgeons next week. I will never go to another drug store pharmacy to get a vaccine. Before this happened, I didn't know you could get a serious shoulder injury from a vaccine being given in the wrong location on the arm. From now on, I'll be sure to get all future vaccines at a hospital pharmacy that provides vaccine shots by a hospital pharmacist.

Went through the pharmacy drive thru and it was very pleasant. Wendy helped me out and I had an insurance dilemma but she sorted it out and was very nice. Pharmacies aren't fast people. Stuff happens. Everyone has different insurance and there are a million different pills out there so give these people a break.

I have left positive reviews on this store in the past but service has gone WAY DOWN. Pharmacy employees are rude and take too long. They made me wait in my car for 30 minutes and then rudely told me to drive around to come inside so they could verify my insurance that has not changed and that I have picked up for within the past week. Then when I got inside they were incredibly rude about having to call my insurance. Both employees I spoke to had a major attitude and will drive me to switch to CVS.

They seemed nice enough but wouldn't honor the GoodRX price. My doctor recommended it but this Walgreens pharmacy wouldn't honor it. If you're planning on using good RX go somewhere else.

I just want to thank Ms. Sandy she welcome me, and when I paid she was nice, she make sure that I entered my phone number for my points, and telling me about the survey.

Pharmacy doesn't seem to know what they're doing. I came in twice for 2 administrations of a vaccine, and both times they ran my insurance and told me that it wasn't covered. It is preventative care; never should I have to pay out of pocket when I have insurance. I don't know if the staff is just incompetent, or if something is wrong with their system. I went over to HEB RediClinic, and they took my insurance, no problem. If you need immunizations, save yourself some anxiety and go past this Walgreens to the HEB down the road. They actually know what to do.

Drive thru pharmacy very very slow . Don't get prescriptions filled here if you are in pain because it will literally take such a long time very understaffed . Costumer service isn't great either although the Asian boy is real nice fast and consistent
