I've used Walgreen's exclusively for my family's prescriptions for over 2 decades. This Walgreen's has absolutely killed that. Basically my experience mirrors those of the other 1 star reviews for this place but I'll add my biggest frustration.
This place NEVER fills my full prescription. It is ALWAYS a partial fill which means I have to drive to this place multiple times and get to experience all the complaints people have posted about 2x-3x more frequently than I should. It's so damn frustrating.
I'm done with Walgreen's permanently, we moved to HEB across the street. Miraculously they are able to fill the full prescription, no issues.

Walgreen is struggling and their lack of customer service does not help. I dropped off a package on Sunday for FedEx, with the understanding that my package would be picked up the following day. Imagine my surprise as of Tuesday my package was still at Walgreens! I called and was told FedEx picks packages up everyday at 9 am. I went in on Wednesday and decided to pick up my package. The associate behind the photo counter was extremely rude and indifferent especially when I asked for a number for corporate. She pointed at her manager and said she would know she doesnt. The manager went on to tell me that fedex doesn't pick up packages everyday 😒 . Luckily I went to PostNet and my package went out the same day. I see why their stores are closing.

Came in for a passport photo. Never got it sent to my email, despite manually entering it for them. Now I have to go back in, go through the same process, and hope that it gets sent this time.

They are very inefficient. I came three times to pick up one medication but they gave only 5 pills and then 3 pills a another time then they asked me to come in 2 days to pick up remaining pills I came in 5 days they still said their out of stock.

I see many bad reviews and attempts to fix via reply from the company. If there are corporate attempts to fix at the store / pharmacy level, these are being ignored. Did Walgreens Gattis School throw away the customer service manual?

I had an appointment for flu and covid vaccine. I left when they took a walk in before me after waiting 20+ minutes. If someone would have told me what to expect that would have made it a bit better. The pharmacist was overwhelmed so at that point I didn't want someone that's in a hurry to give me vaccines.

Really bad communication with the pharmacy staff. I sent a new RX and I’ve called twice to see when it would be available for pick up. Every time I call I’m waiting over 20 minutes, someone answers every couple minutes and puts be back on hold without saying anything. Really frustrating!

Bad attitude and customer service. They didn’t even have anyone in the lobby but she asked me do u have appointments for your flu shot today ?
I said No. she replied quickly with attitude, CANT HELP U.
I got the shot at HEB in 15 min.

The pharmacy is next level incompetent. Every prescription is like the first one they have ever filled. If you use the mobile refill you will certainly have to call them because obviously that just adds another far too sophisticated element. A couple of weeks ago they said all of the shipments were sitting to be picked up for days because “FedEx had not come by”. They said to call corporate if wanted to complain about the delay with my medication. If you are looking for the reliable and consistent Walgreens you grew up with….this is not that Walgreens.

This is the WORST Walgreens ever. Poor service, never get refill or pickup alerts on time, and their communication with my providers is lacking.

This pharmacy is the worst. They NEVER have my prescriptions ready in time. They look for ways to put it off and make excuses. They’re constantly trying to send customers to other locations (which is very inconvenient) or just expect you to wait days after they’ve received your prescription electronically from your doctor. They’re extremely understaffed. After being a Walgreens customer for nearly 4 decades, I’m done dealing with them. I’m switching to H‑E‑B pharmacy.

Horrible pharmacy service. After calling 10 different pharmacies we found a single box of a med that she required that is in short supply. Confirmed that they had insurance approval and her name was on it.
She arrives at the pharmacy only to find that they gave it to someone else. Now her insurance won't approve the prescription because Walgreen's on GATTIS has it ready for her.
Pharmacy manager NO WHERE IN SIGHT. What kind of other medical screw ups occur at this place if promised and already ready for someone, can be re-labeled on a whim?

The store part is pretty good, but their pharmacy is horrible. They're rude to people, you can never get someone on the phone, they change your prescription dates without speaking to you or your doctor, and they flat out suck. I only use them because they're super close to my house.
