This was my second time at the restaurant had bourbon pork chops yams and greens that were amazing and you couldn't have asked the staff to be more welcoming attentive and appreciative there's such a good vibe at this place on top of great food I'm going to eat my way through the whole menu I'm glad

We haven't been y'all's in a couple years decided to order a Sunday dinner from them and let me just say It was the worst food that we've ever had red beans and rice was mushy, cabbage was burnt, chicken and pork chop was oily we were unable to finish I think the oil needed to be changed granite It may have been late in the day and they close at five and we picked our order up at 4:50pm but before you send out subpar food a call could've been made stating the kitchen was closed before we spent our hard earned money.

The food was great. The collards were almost as good as my mom's. We didn't care for the chicken fried steak but Hoss replaced it with amazing catfish. Great service. Highly recommend.

Okay, we just randomly found this place and I am so glad we did. A bit of a drive from Lakeway, but well worth it. The best food since Dots burned down. Hass was an excellent server - ask for him. The whole place is blast with amazing food and people!

Best food ever, the swr I e was outstanding. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place. The fried gizzard was the most tender gizzard I ever tasted, not chewy at all!

Like others have mentioned, you would never imagine that such a nondescript store front would have such a treat waiting for you. We decided to try this place for our Easter lunch and were welcomed by the Queen Bee Pam who seated us and explained the specials of the day. Because I had been studying the menu for weeks before, we already knew what we wanted. The food was delicious and undoubtedly home made, down home southern comfort food, everything came out piping hot straight from the kitchen. The portions are huge, so we needed a to go box when we left. Every single team member is warm, informed about the food, and so incredibly sweet. The music was perfect and the atmosphere is fun, relaxed and welcoming. We're so happy to have spent our Easter afternoon here and we will definitely be back. Thanks to Hanna and Stacy as well for their wonderful hospitality and warmth and making us feel like part of their family of friends and giving us the best possible Easter experience ever.

Went there Tonight ,got the pork chop with cabbage and Mac And cheese and cornbread plate, added some gravy.And took most of it home. The proportions are great, But as soon as I started to eat the pork chop. I realized that it was not cooked thoroughly. It was very bright pink, almost bloody. Which can cause food poisoning.
